Only 19 and already contemplating such srs bz. According to my pastor, when you die, god will fly down and carry you to his realm. You spend the rest of your days frolicing through the clouds. I love god. So much soul fighting. It's like chakra. Breach the genkai and turn hollow. That is the next level.

1. Death is annihilation. 2. The living have not yet been annihilated (otherwise they wouldn't be alive). 3. Death does not affect the living. (from 1 and 2) 4. So, death is not bad for the living. (from 3) 5. For something to be bad for somebody, that person has to exist, at least. 6. The dead do not exist. (from 1) 7. Therefore, death is not bad for the dead. (from 5 and 6) 8. Therefore death is bad for neither the living nor the dead. (from 4 and 7)
"Death does not concern us, because as long as we exist, death is not here. And when it does come, we no longer exist." Epicurus

Banned from my blog because I don't need any more filth. Really. I am not contemplating on this really, just a small thought that came across my mind today.
You'd be too dumb to understand though.

Hurray for materialism!
There's no answer to the question since it's yet to be answered; however, there's perceptions of the possible outcomes. You cannot ridicule an individual's ideas since you're assertion are the same "nonsense' as the next person. Your approach is, "All that makes you you is the electrochemical activity going on in the neurons of your brain right now" which doesn't explain how you're able to have a "personality". You cannot have a consciousness simply with "electrochemical activity" which is why even scientist believe there's a inner core, like a soul if you will, that enables individual thought.
I don't think you're taking into account how complex a network the brain is. I'm not saying wonderful things don't come out of it, just that how you act and think are a product of all of your past experiences and the connections your brain has established within itself. And scientists are divided on the issue of a soul, as everyone is, though recent experiments in programming neural networks indicate that consciousness arises in a system from the parallel processing of many individually simple units, like neurons.
