What do you think? Maybe it's time for us terrans to go back to our roots? Especially now when maps isn't that strong for mech anymore (at least that's what I think, I'll be glad, not really, to be proven wrong)
I always hated mech, it's so boring to watch really. I want m&m back

bio terran is 10x more fun to play against and requires so much finesse for lurk/ling/defiler mech is boring, just macro like zvp gogo back to bio terrans

Errr, but bio isn't underused, it never was... Just some maps were hard for bio so people obviously used mech on them - desti, hbr. But look at smth like medusa - this map is good for both bio and mech and you can see both these strats on it.
Also outsider - another map that was played quite often - was map where you see mostly mnm or wraiths and like no mech.
We were always at our roots, just some maps required adaptation from us.

You HAVE to go mech on Medusa unless you wanna die to mutas.

Some maps just force players to go mech. And Mech guarantees them a higher success at winning the game, so when the games matter, they will tend to go mech.
But bionic is still the shit yo

if that was the case I wouldn't have made this thread. mech openings = mech, even if you transition to bio imo

That's a terrible way of looking at things. Even Korean commentators talk about transitioning into SK Terran and etc.; 1fac vult into bio is bio; SK Terran is as much a build as it is a unit composition. Holding onto such stubborn and static definitions is just being dogmatic in a flawed way.

SK terran is when you play without tanks, push with 3 tanks and 1 vessel into 2 starport vessel is not SK terran.

I suppose all those professional Korean commentators have been incorrect for all these years.
I mean, what? SK "composition" is an incorrect way of defining SK Terran? Damn, you should tell those OGN and MBC noobs what's right.

That's how we the foreign scene define it.

Pushing with three tanks is a timing push, not an overall playstyle. If the T transitions into two port vessel, then it's SK terran.
SK doesn't even need to not have tanks...it just signifies a highly mobile, aggressive and attrition-based playstyle that involves irradiating the shit out of everything. So what if the T has some gas left over and makes a tank or two?

does it matter

You're acting like you're an authority on a term when you seriously aren't. Those commentators are a far greater authority on that term than you are, and I've seen people in the "foreign scene" talk about "SK transitions" before.
You're just dogmatic about something with absolutely no base to the point of being senseless.

im just talking outta my own experience on this website when I say what I think people think about that term, that's my opinion. what makes you so angry over my opinion?
