Shortly before Blizzcon, I had taken over cooking duties for the family. Mainly since I don't have a job, whereas everyone else in the house does. I had been cooking for about a month before Blizzcon, sticking to interesting recipes I find on the internet, and food I grew up with. I've come up with a few things myself, however.
Anyhow, I was gone for Blizzcon, and when I came back, I was informed that my cooking was greatly missed, and my mom requested that I make a pork chop recipe I had created. So I got all the ingredients, and made it last night. As it was cooking, I decided to snap a picture or two.
The pork chops as they're cooking.
The finished product.
Dinner tomorrow, with my trusty CJ marinade.
Might update this blog at a later date if I ever make anything else on my own. As I said, I've made a few dishes via my own recipe, and they've been hit or miss, but everyone who's tried these pork chops say it's the best dish I've made, recipe or not.
I know TL has some people who cook for a living, and people who just love food in general, so can we get anymore pictures in here to get people all nice and hungry? :D

I'm not sure whether that looks delicious or disgusting..

Might be look better if you listed what's in it?

Delicious or not, I've decided I'm gonna take on cooking tonight. Sweet.

Yeah, was thinking that, then WCG started.
It actually a simple sweet/spicy recipe.
Other than the pork chops, I used three ingredients + rice.
Apricot Pineapple preserves, crushed pineapples + juice, and Habanero Tabasco sauce.

Yeah, rice was a bit wet. Was just reheated leftover rice to go with the dish.

Alright, now it makes sense why it's yellow/orangey.
Anyway, sounds good. Apricot as a sauce/marinade is usually pretty delicious.

Yeah, and I was surprised at just how well it goes with the Habanero Tabasco, which is pretty hot, but a bit sweet itself.
I use it in pretty much everything. On pizza, in stir fry, on eggs, etc. I love the stuff.

I've had the beef marinating in the sauce all night. I've used it a few times before, and while going to a Korean BBQ joint is definitely better, the sauce is actually pretty good. When I saw it at the international market I go to, I knew I just had to try it. They also have a Galbee sauce that I'll try eventually.

I've been scouring the aisles, and have only found a few CJ brand sauces. I'll have to try some of the asian markets we have.
As for the presentation of the food, it was pretty much me cooking it up, going "Hey, I have a camera now, let's grab a few shots of this" during the cooking, then after I tossed a chop on a plate with some rice, I said the same.

yeah i dont mean any harm saying this, i just pay extra attention when i plate food myself, because presentation makes up a lot of the impression and even taste worst thing is when you cooked a nice meal but it wasnt arranged properly and some people werent excited about it before even trying it
