As for putting information above stream, without chat there will be no need for it as you can post that info in chat screen.

If I don't know who is playing I do A) Check races they are playing and then compare to tl.net thread B) check players teams (usually shown next to players name) and figure out who is who C) If its proleague game, obviously from game score. D) not being lazy and doing your own research E) from TL.net thread where usually some one types players starting positions F) sometimes observers ally left side booth if its mirror game (around 75% time) so I can figure out who is playing mirror races) If these won't help I just enjoy watching without knowing who is playing. Yes but there are a lot of people who have just recently started watching SC and don't think to do that so having that tiny blurb at the top is nice.

I'm not defending them, but sometimes when let's say your stream gets dc'ed and everyone goes like "F*** You Kona..", don't take it personally. It's just that many people are really into the game and their reaction is well, very spontaneous. It's the same with many other sports. A split second goal can make even the most well-mannered and decent man into a swearing machine. I have used your stream many times and well, if that's your decision then, I'll respect your decision. Thanks for the good views. Much appreciated.

"Well pretty much standard way to get e-sports famous. 1. Massively doing things (let it be uploading vods, photos, interviews, etc) 2. You reach your peak. 3. You don't see enough respect towards you (lack of comments, traffic, popularity etc) 4. now that you have basic fanbase you can slow down things and try to get more quality towards it 5. Some point you wonder is this really necessary to do, should I just quit/retire. 6. fading out of scene I personally have experienced same situation and going phase 6."

Don't quit - you've been doing so well, I might not check the stream often due to my crappy internet here in India but I always like the fact that no matter what you're streaming or doing translations from your own free time. Maybe you need to take a break from this and probably only do select stuff but don't underestimate your contributions to the community. Hope you think of these things with a calm mind.

while nochat + TL irc is the logical solution, on a higher level, doing anything on the internet will never be always peaches and cream, and you should expect anything. It's unfortunate that your streaming service, which brought a lot of joy and a sense of community to many people, will be stopped because you let bad comments and bad incidents get to you. words are just words, and if this great thing that you're doing goes down because you couldn't get over the fact that some anonymous douche who doesn't even know you is calling you a few words, that would be very sad. All the things you started for this site never were done with feedback as the goal, whether positive or negative. I've been in your shoes, and I know; you don't do it for the props. You do it to share. So why let the negative comments get to you? Toughen up.

And if I don't, people go "FUCK YOU WHY DON'T OFF CHAT ??!?!?!?!!?" whatever man How can people complain about not having a chat in an f'ing video stream?? Just turn it off I'd say, there's tl's board, irc, msn and related, even... People (read: trolls) will get used to it. Sorry that you feel troubled about this. (oh, and don't you love the irony that people are now saying WTF! NO MORE STEAMING!!! F YOU KONA!)

Who gives a fuck...you're doing a service to the community streaming games and all that shit. But...I don't really watch SC live anymore, so it doesn't affect me a whole lot. I've used your stream like once. The regular dudes'll probably have a lot more to say about this in the OTHER direction...ahahaha.

But i think others should be grateful of what kona did though, and if those who think his stream is laggy, prove to the rest and stream it to others..
