Yes its made from Orange skin.
I think they were watching Spirited Away.
And the chocolate on the oranges is messy I know, I only had a little chocolate for melting and was trying to conserve for all the orange segments, as well as the drizzle.

Yeah Its basically a tweaked version of my lemon blueberry one (see earlier blogs for directions)
Instead of the citrus cookies i used chocolate shortbread cookies.(any recipe )
Chocloate shortbread:
2 cups flour
1/4 coca powder combine theses three
1/2 teas salt
cream 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 teas vanilla (optional)(i used 3/4teas vanilla 1/4 Orange liquor)
combine all bake at 350 for about 15 minutes.
once cooled youll food process these into crumbs and use as the crust.
For the mix its the same as the lemon one only i use orange juice instead of lemon and no blueberries.
Yes I cook but would love to bake.I am no baking pro I just love to bake, and have had a little experience in pastry long ago.
