I'm sick of python I wish people would stop playing it.

python isn't p > t
at the very least it is "balanced" especially in sub B level games

This is a Terran favored map in TvP yo dude its called mechanics... something that takes hours a day to train for....and simple mistakes like not laying mines fast enough will cost you... Python is a wide opened map so A LOT of mines will have to be placed, on other maps such as othello, there are walls in the middle so less mines will have to be placed. Arguabally if 200/200 on othello or longinus you don't have to lay mines at all. But on python terran must always constant spamming mines in the middle of the map even while maxed at 200/200, and also must position his tank army to perfection all side by side to the curve of the walls on python so they don't get flanked... Thats a LOT more work to do in comparison to other maps for a camp style 200/200. Plus the mineral only has so few in minerals, and hard to defend, and must search for new minerals asap. Yeah, but you can still build on most of the middle. hard pushes are pretty strong. Also when expo'ing, it's pretty easy to defend mains and naturals unless toss has recall or persistent shuttle play.
It's not that bad, and pushing isn't as hard as it seems.

C-/C is higher up rank? :/

Fuck python.

I like Python and I like old maps like Luna but no one plays Luna/Gaia anymore

lol I didn't feel like playing on a different map.....Python in my opinion is the nice protoss map that makes things....easier for no reason. I just feel more at home and more comfortable

Its true i can assuming i got 4-5 bases running... Hard pushes pretty strong assuming the terran can push VERY well, that means laying mines constantly, macroing, and still be able to have enough apm to position tanks well, and placing turrets...... Its not easy to defend mains what you talkin about lol... The mineral only is so small, so that terran must find new expos at other mains, which would mean they need to place their entire army to that other main leaving their natural open for attack... unless of course they place mines all over the map again which is actually pretty difficult due to the mechansic rquired for that.
Timing push style isn't that hard to play, but to be honest i've only seen koreans pull of the camp 200/200 on python....That one replay of frozean vs free is a perfect example of how a terran can abuse python IF he has PERFECT MECHANICS.

Then work on your mechanics

um, PvT@python is hard as fuck on higher ranks, or crossmap its pretty easy, but its like almost impossible on the closest pos and hard vs the closest pos by air also.
|
Python is one of the most balanced PvT maps according to Artosis, and he hates protoss, so im sure it favours terran a bit :p
|
ah it must have been crossmaps that made it easier for me(I get why crossmap positions are nice now :O )
