It is the "Acer Aspire - GT7700-UQ9300A Predator". The regular price is 1700$ or so and my dad is getting it for 999$, the only thing I am concerned about is the graphics card doesn't seem that good. What do you guys think? Specs Graphics Processor / Vendor NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT That is not bad at all. you will be able to play d3 & sc2 at max detail.

Ok well I don't know much about video cards, but I thought that the NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT is worse then the NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT and the 9800 and a decent card.

Of course the 9800 is better...it's a newer card. That doesn't make the 9600 bad, though. It's just older. You'll be able to play any game out right now with it.

What the fuck are you thinking? what does ram have to do with video cards? :o 9600gt is pretty dated, you will be able to play most games but with newer games you usually have to turn a few settings down esp at higher res. i'd go for a 9800. also that processor wont be as good as a high end dual core for intensive games like l4d and stuff.

the analogy is more like paying your girlfriend a penny every year to ensure her armpits are hair free.
