I dunno why you guys make this comp bad, my son got it last year christmas and he playes every game, playes WOW with all on high without a lag.
It´s not a big deal if you once think the GraKa is to bad for you to get a new one later, if you get the full comp now for a special price

Of course if you ask a bunch of mainstream gamers they'll tell you 9600 is a crappy card. To them, if you're not running crysis on ultra-high max resolution max AA on dual GTX280s with 8 gigs of ram and a quad core CPU, it's a shit system.

For a laptop, a 9600 is pretty damn good. It vastly outperforms the 8600GT I'm using right now, and I'm still running every game on the market.

Yea but I figure that if I ever want to play another game that requires a better graphics card, I could just buy a new one

Wrong - the 9800 isn't a later card, it's from a different market segment. It's a huge upgrade from the 9600 which is a joke. The price is insanely high when you can get the Acer 5930 for so so much less with the same gfx card and thus essentially the same gaming performance.
