Hm so I'm going to start losing weight. I weight 160 pounds and I feel like it's time to make a change!
Lately I've been doing ab workouts and doing a lot of skipping as well as maintaining my diet.
I might keep some sort of weekly progress thing to see if I can do it or not.
I know it's hard (esp. controlling my diet) but no pain, no gain right?
Here is me right now.
Currently: 160 lbs Target Goal: 150 lbs Ideal Goal: 140 lbs

Idk, I think the losing the weight would probably take 1-2 months at a leisurely pace, maybe 2 weeks at a more hardcore pace, but achieving the overall results I am looking for (Not too ambitious, but just a healthy 150ish) will take quite a bit of time, and a continued commitment to stay that way after I get there.

if you just run an hour a day (jogging interspaced with sprinting) and cut calorie intake to 1500kcal per day (or close to it) and a break day on the weekends (normal healthy eating habits/no running) you can lose 10 lbs in a month.
did this myself while i was in japan and lost a good 30 pounds over the summer over three months. currently at 160 lb, going for 150 lb

My weight/figure isn't my personal concern so much as how 'in shape' I am... and while I realize they are fairly related, what I really should do is get exercise to the point that I won't get exhausted jogging a mile etc.

I'm 165 pounds and 5' 9, and I'm trying to lose weight too I'm mainly running as much as I can everyday, watching what I eat more carefully, and doing some weights.
