You could also e-mail him telling him that you're having problems getting the file to e-mail but that you can meet with him at some far away place, and then not show up due to car problems. Maybe do this 2-3 times. | ||

There was a kid in class who needed help in programming, and I was loathe to waste my time, but I assisted him anyway. He turned out not to be a freeloader and we became friends. Later on he helped me. All this to say a little generosity can lead to good things, and if he turns out to be a jerk you can just stop talking to him. | ||
