Google'd TL.net, nothing came up, so decided to post here, because it came to my attention that some people felt that getting used to playing in a faster speed could help with improvement on the game. (Feel free to move if this isn't the right section)
Step 1. Download Cheat Engine + Show Spoiler +WILL NOT WORK ON BATTLE.NET UNLESS YOUR OPPONENT USES THE SAME xSPEED AS YOU.
Step 2.start starcraft
Step 3.attach the engine to starcraft.exe on the cheatengine, tick "Enable Speedhack" and then put in whatever speed you want and then click "Set speed" (ignore the sleeptime)
Refer to pics for more help.
I have tried this method on LAN and Battle.net, but only tested this with my brother. We both used the method mentioned above, and both used the same speed. *Worked*

:O HGmmm, perhaps it could work to get reaction times working better for you? ;P Thx for the link dood ^^

... There's more much reliable and more trustful sources and it's just an .scx file, not some program. -_-

Maps can't change the spawn rate of larvaes. -_-

Interesting but.. does this really enhance ur reaction time?

Everyone probably has a different preference of how they practice, I am just providing another method of practice.

wow really cool
I played a computer 2x and its quite fun, you have to be soo fast
would probably make good "resistance-training" too

hmm I tried playing at 4x speed, but after a while it slowed down to ~~normal speed again, don't know why

Hmm... I play mostly on 3x it might be because of how long you've been playing.
Just reset the speed to 1.0 on cheatengine, set speed, and then set a faster speed again.

lol that was so awesome. Occasionally I felt like it would recognize a hot key... but maybe that was just me. And try microing against a 4 pool Zerg comp rush guys... lol. I was on 4X speed

Cheat Engine is completely legit, though it depends on where you download it. If you aren't sure, upload it to virustotal.com

Could the "turning off" have anything to do with "sleeptime"? You said to ignore it but maybe this is relevant.

holy fuck this is wicked, i am going to be practicing like this for a while, thanks alot ^.^

There are noticeable improvements(for me) I can say that. I'm hesitant to say this, because i haven't played using this method a lot (barely have time for SC anymore), but it has helped me improve my APM, micro, multitasking in general.

That program has side effects Iput it 3 times faster and now my entire thought process is 3 times faster... I'm doing everything faster and alot more clicky than normal xD
|
I scroll so freaking far now. It's so hard to tell your SCV, "Build Depot here, go back to mine here."
By the way, does it have to increase by whole number increments?
I tried 1.5, and didn't really get anything.
