Hello fellow Teamliquidians!!

20 years here at this site...official like as of October 2022. I keep meaning to add a blog but I feel like it deserves more and so I push posting off ehhh Ill post what I have and Ill try to fix/update if it stays relevant.

Since last time I blogged...

ESL Event in Stockholm was amazing. Getting to be able to attend a live event once more was soothing to to soul. As always everyone that chatted or came by was just too kind and much love was shown. I got signatures from the TL Dota team! Explored the original IKEA and ended up missing my flight but it worked out as I was able to stay in the player hotel that extra day and meet and hang out with even more amazing individuals.

After that event I was contacted for another event one that I had been dreaming of for years... I feel so lucky some schmuck like me getting to do such things... I would never have thought it possible. Guess who was asking if I could come do balloons.... for .......

TSL In Urtecht at TEAMLIQUID HQ!!!

I had an absolute blast! Getting into Amsterdam I was joined by FearDragon on the ride to Urtecht the trains had a strike going on.. I was put up in a hotel inside the mall just across from the train station and TL HQ. HQ is soooo amazing (amazing will show up alot) just getting to check out the work areas, practice,streaming.... Nazs office... for me I really enjoyed talking to the chef and cooks. They have a full kitchen... The team had organized an amazing event. Truth be told I was probably a bit over kill after making some balloon sculptures we quickly realized there just was no room for more.
So the next few days I repaired balloons made balloons for staff/ players anyone that wanted a balloon. And After each day I explored the city walking many miles around just in love with the city! I got to meet up with LeperKahn from here at TL. He made his way from Amsterdam!

Since then I have been focused on the family working on my bike and just reading and trying to spend as much time as I can with the family since the passing of my sister.

We went to Disneyland and took my daughters boyfriend with us for a couple days and then they had to leave and the wife my son and I stayed and played for a couple more days. I sure do love Disneyland!

I really want to make my bike a TL bike. Colors would be TL colors instead of the HD logo it would be the Horse head etc. LED lights with TL.NET or GGnoRE in them etc. Price no limit I would do something similar to FURY Custom Big wheel Bagger bikes. Mod it to be able to make balloons from the saddle bags and travel all over making balloons and repping TL on the most bad ass of bikes..... Man Im going to keep dreaming ..... I dreamt of making balloons.... I dreamt of making balloons at gaming events and I dreamt of making balloons at TL HQ Ive got those down!! Now to make this bike a thing... and get a job somehow with my limited skill set with TL!!! A trip from TL HQ to NY or Maine would be so cool making balloons along the way time it just right hit different events etc.

Some balloon work non game related stuff with some of my peers coming soon!

Ill be at Berlin Dota event May 5-7 come on out and say hi!!!

Also doing a family trip to Europe to see Hans Zimmer (son loves him) in Belgium and prob hit up England and Scotland as well! Mid June.

I just read the first Ken Liu book in the Dandelion Dynasty .. I really had a hard time with the names.. same thing when I took Japanese history classes the names all bled together making it hard to differentiate the places and names from one another

If I go further Ill have to reread and make sure to keep checking the name lists in the appendix page or wherever they put em.

James Islington The Shadow of what was lost was a book I enjoyed. I tried reading the second book on my unused kindle and I can not read on my old kindle fire.. maybe one of the ink readers would be better for me but I really enjoy a physical copy... Ive yet ordered the second book no one has it here locally...Well the local library but there is a wait so im on the list but if I can find a cheap copy somewhere..

I typically only read fantasy with a sprinkling of sci/fi and horror .. and I go through reading spurts some months I read a ton others I hardly read any.

Man so exciting seeing your adventures! That lan you all had looked like it was a blast!

Bikes down atm

Need a new exhaust for it...Hope to put some other work into it performance wise take it up to a 1200-1250 big bore kit new clutch swap over to a chain rather than belt ... couple other cosmetic stuff and then I really want to repaint it TL style.. Instead of Harley shield etc. it will be the TL horse head...TL colors etc.

Would love to have the first TL Chopper hahah !

I made a post here probably 15+ years ago about the 5 TL'ers I'd want to meet irl. The only two names I remember were yours and Manifesto7, and I've already met Mani.

Anytime I see an update from you it just reminds me what an awesome dude you are, and what I imagine is an amazing life you lead.

Ups and downs though. Sorry to hear about your sister, hope you and the family are doing well. Quick share from my side, I'm going to be a dad soon - almost 40 years old, what the hell am I thinking? I have a lot of catching up to do to you.

Sadly... I love everything about Ireland!!

Will be close in June but still to far...doing a little Belgium,England, Maybe Scotland trip. Son wants to see Hans Zimmer in concert so we have tickets for that June 22nd I believe in Brussels!

My son will be heading to Ireland in 2024 for a school trip Dublin - Galway - Belfast back to Dublin not sure where else off the top of the head.

Ill keep ya posted though!!

I appreciate you saying that ! Its def. not all rainbows and esports adventures across the world haha.. For sure. But I am for sure beyond lucky even more so considering where/how I grew up... and my lack of pushing myself ... anyways lol Ive started counseling so....
