until recently, i didn't know how the words congress, house, senate, congressman, representative, and senator related. it was all just a bunch of political lingo.
http://www.opencongress.org/bill/all
it shows all bills and actions on those bills daily, divided camerally, and by action. i know with al lthe fun stuff around like starcraft and team liquid around, it can be easy not to pay attention to more serious and dutiful matters like taking part in the republic. how many times have we heard someone being chastened for not paying attention to "whats going on" around you, and got stirred up to then pay attention, but was at a loss at how? your answer made easy: opencongress.org
an awesome tool. it's like the teamliquid of congress. go look up stuff! i encourage everyone =)
and the winner, it's got a facebook application too lol.

Why would anyone care about the house of representatives when they're the most spine-less politicians. tell me when they actually pass something meaningful like defunding the troops and staying with it or impeaching the president.
thanks for the website but I can't admire some of these politician because lots of them are mostly talk and no action. also wtf is:
"H.R.634 American Veterans Disabled for Life Commemorative Coin Act"
how about passing a bill that means something, like redeeming the dollar value. sorry for getting off topic but I believe it's well deserved.

man, my sentiments exactly. most of them are bought off, have other loyalties, and others just get sucked int othe take home the bacon thing. the philosophical battle isn't really there. dems or repubs, were drifting from the constitution.
but recently, i discovered ron paul. some ppl may grown "oh another ron paul supporter", but he has a lot of what people with political apathy are looking for. someone that doesnt flipflop. someone with a strong core beliefs and doesn't stray from them.
obama? whatever. he's totally CFR, won't talk about the causes of monetary failures, and his voting record? ron paul voted against the patriot act, military commissions act, the war, every bill. and take a look at his videos back from 1970. 30 years, and he's been saying the same thing. obama, i just hope he turns out to be a black sheep like JFK did and turn against the NWO. (and please, don't get all senstiive because i said black sheep.)

hahha some of the bills are kinda dumb
H. CON. RES. 295 Expressing the deepest appreciation of Congress to the families of members of the United States Armed Forces. Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That Congress expresses its deepest appreciation to the families, both immediate and extended, of members of the United States Armed Forces for the unwavering support, both physical and emotional, that family members give their loved ones while they answer the call to serve their country and keep the United States safe.
Hmm... a bill that expresses Congresses appreciation to veteran's and their families. It's funny because no one voted against it. Haha, that would be bad if you were like "hell no , screw those veterans"
