Not this shitty pre register with your Sony Super ID and then maybe you get a letter that maybe you can buy a PS5 for some vague amount of money sometime between now and 2025... FU Sony I didn't follow the launch of PS4 closely. Was it this bad back then? | ||

As for the Sony sign up page although I'm a bit annoyed that it is US only(hello rest of world would like a PS5 as well) I am sort of onboard with this approach as theoretically it should help cut scalpers out of the picture. Maybe it is US only because they found the majority of scalpers were from there? I'm not sure but I applaud the effort. | ||

Sony has a currently unnamed event planned for the 18th September during PAX Online. It's one of the only upcoming PAX events that doesn't have a title — it's simply called 'Sony Holder' at the time of writing. And so the speculation begins. It could well be that Sony has something big planned for whatever this PAX showing is — or perhaps it plans on using this event to expand upon upcoming PS5 announcements. Again, the fact that this slot doesn't have a name suggests that it's all very secretive. Source | ||
