Does this mean the Automaton officially won? Now no one can drop down onto Ubanea and the planet is disabled with it saying it is 49% liberated. I guess another "assault on Ubanea" will occur later?

They could maybe push it to 40 if they tried, but you're going to be looking at a sacrifice in something else. This isn't for me since my launch PS5 is still doing great.

Only positive thing is that Christopher Barrett is now in an executive position at Bungie.

WB Games probably told Avalanche Software to not work on any DLC/Expansion and get work on a sequel/live service because I can really see it being a massive open world/multiplayer game but with a lot more NPC's etc. Though there are some major potential cons obviously. This was pretty fun for me. It broke a immersion a little bit that i was basically merking dozens of wizards and goblins every 10 minutes with every spell possible, and my companion would just watch and say "cool, cool cool"

You (or any aging father on a whim) can see a new God of War game, and that afternoon purchase a console and said game, and begin playing it. You know it works, you know the system can run the game, and you're good to go. Pc demands you answer a lot more questions about operating systems, RAM, hard drive type, sales platform for the game, drm, peripherals etcetc. You have more freedom to tailor your experience, but the barrier to entry is higher.

Thus, the issue from a consumer's perspective on whether or not console or PC is an issue of software, not hardware. Hope that clarifies.

I used to be a huge PC gamer, but honestly the PS5 sitting next to my TV is great for playing 4k disc, and all the apps etc, windows just suck for 4K content on netflix. (cant get the 4k to work) And while I have a 5800x with 3080, I can't even get alan wake 2 to run at high quality 4K DLSS with decent frame rate.
