If you're referring to kapn, it actually is the same guy- he jokingly switched up his tag because he switched characters to fit on a team for the tournament.

He just kinda 'truncated' ochibi into otb, the japanese dont the T perfectly but they dont put a CH sound there either.

Information is really really old, but nohoho has had a list of qualified ST players here. I'm guessing the favorite is: ARG (Claw) & Otochun (Chun-Li)? Tokido (Claw) & Nuki (Chun-Li) interestingly got in. And will JustinW (O.Sagat) & NKI (Chun-Li) finally bring a foreigner victory?

I'm guessing all the qualifiers are done for all the games by now except last chance? Any qualifier lists? Not like I'd know any of the other games' players, unless maybe HnK players are all GGXXAC guys.

This is a semi random question, but I've been wondering this for YEARS. I swear, that years ago when I was a kid I saw someone playing a version of Street Fighter 2 (dunno which it was...) and he was playing guile, and he was able to throw sonic booms while in mid air, and they were basically homing in that they could move vertically up and down as they moved across the screen. He also was able to throw them fast enough that there were more than 1 on the screen at any time.

I also remember someone playing Ryu and doing something similar, i.e. multiple air fireballs on the screen at one time that were semi homing.

Am i crazy? Was I just watching someone play a modded version of the game or something? I believe this was in canada so maybe those crazy canadians had their own version, but I swear this happened and I haven't gotten that memory out of my head in the last 15 years
