He got in last year based on his WCS Valencia run which gave him a ton of points. Am I the only one who thinks this format kinda sucks? Why do I have to vote for a particular race? Why can’t I just vote for my top four instead (outside the invites, which I tend to agree with for the most part)? For example, I voted for ShoWTimE in Protoss but in all honesty I don’t think any of the World Protoss player options are worthy of being included. None of them have done enough to deserve top eight consideration. Same sort of thing is happening on the Korean side where a lot of people are voting for Stats and PartinG instead of Trap: excuse me, have any of you been actually watching this year? 👀 I want the best players from each side and I don’t like being pigeon holed because of the races they play, that’s my rant.

It's just been 14 hours and there's still a week to go. I assume things can still happen especially cause TL doesn't enforce any criteria of activity or age on accounts eligible to vote

None of them have done enough to deserve top eight consideration. Showtime is top 8 in the WCS standings and made top 4 at WCS Summer. If he doesn't deserve top 8 consideration there's nobody else who deserves your vote in his stead either. This vote is actually leading to Team World getting represented by the top 8 players in WCS, except Scarlett (#9 in WCS) is gonna take Elazer's spot.
