You know, I'm not bothered that he had somebody with a lot of followers boost him, but I do find it somewhat petty that Elazer's defense of his actions (posted on Reddit) basically amounts to "Scarlett's more popular than me and it's not fair". | ||

Logging in to vote takes virtually no effort with social media integration, doing it doesn't create any real attachment. Doing outreach and promotion is a good idea, but I don't think there's anything special about this event that makes it more effective. You need to actually promote and introduce people to SC2 for there to be any benefit, not just tell them to go to a website and vote. | ||

Top 8 foreigners according to this year s WCS points: 1. Serral 2. Reynor 3. Neeb 4. Special 5. Time 6. Heromarine 7. Showtime 8. Elazer Invites: Serral, Neeb, Special, Time, fan votes: Elazer, Heromarine, Showtime, Reynor All is well, I can see why some people might feel Scarlett would have a better shot, but it s pretty close either way. | ||

These are people that follow games online and are active enough to take actions and time based upon the requests of someone they follow. These types of user bumps and stuff can really help the corporate part of sustainability for our community. At this point, anything that we can do to drag eyeballs to our sport is good. Also, everyone complaining about Chinese voters .... language barrier and internet islands are why they are always under reped in international events. They have a billion people. A day may come, were we may rely on them to keep the game alive. Elazer - I think you are a talented and creative player. You better be fire in korea because you made a lot of anti-fans on this one. Not me ... but yeah. | ||
