I've been playing halo quite competitively and plan to continue when reach comes out. I've also started taking a couple people new to sc under my wing and helping them learn how to play starcraft 2 semi-well.

Cycling, Golf, Singing. Those are probably my main ones. Anything outdoors though tbh. Skiing in winter. StarCraft BW goes without saying.

I paint.

I learn Korean and French.

I plant seeds from stuff I eat and watch them grow into plants. So far I have about ten citrus trees, a jalapeno bush, two avocado trees, a passionfruit vine, and a mango tree.

And I build stuff with electronics.
My latest project is an FM synth that I've tried implementing with an arduino and a DAC. But I'm probably gonna skip the DAC and just PWM the sound instead to gain speed. Which is a shame because the FM wave from the DAC looks so beautiful in an oascilloscope ;_;

Hi, I would love to know more about this. Do you do it in your house/apartment? Outdoor greenhouse? How well do the plants fare? How much fruit have you gotten?

So far, the chili-plants and the tomatoes are the only ones that have born fruit. And the tomatoes were pretty underwhelming, but I have gotten a LOT of chili so far. Unfortunately most of my chili-plants got sick and died, so I'm in the process of growing new ones.

How the plants fare varies a lot depending on the type. My citrus trees are kinda mixed, allthough some of them have managed to stay happy for years. The avocado tree has grown almost into the roof, but some leaves are withering. The chili plants were all super happy before they got sick so they were the most successful ones.
Mangoes are the hardest so far. Hard to get to grow and hard to keep alive.

I keep the plants indoors inside the house, and try to put them in sunny windows. It's gotten hard to find space for all of them though.

I'll upload some pictures in the thread when I have the time!

RC cars, scrambling (hiking-mountain climbing hybrid), skiing, shisha and VR arcades with friends, TV shows like GoT/Westworld/BreakingBad/AoT, and learning about how to invest (and investing pretty much all the money I make).

Sums up my life more than I'd like to admit.

@KungKras You seem like a very nice person, that's a nice hobby, I'd love to see some pictures too.

I am gamer at heart so: larping, RPG (pen & paper), boardgames, computer games plus reading. Two years ago i got into classical music so during the season i am at philharmony almost every friday. Also traveling i have a list of things i want to see in my life, i manged to like 3 from 50 but furtunately right now i have job with which i can support traveling so i have great plans.

Edit: And also game design though i mostly design larps.

My hobby is gaming and photography.
Is it good to buy the New Nikon D5200 over D5100 as a beginner. I see the cost is too high for D5200 even though the body is same as D5100 with some improvements in pixels and video capture.

Making music without actually being able to make music.
Right now I'm doing this for fun project where I make a piece of music to wake up to (call it an alarm clock if you will) every week, for a whole year. So in the end, I'll have 52 "alarm clocks".

Also reading and educating myself. Been doing some delving into mycology, chicken for dummies, elementary algebra and algorithms (Python). Trying to read Dune, but I haven't gotten to it.
Also, big fan of a podcast called "Talking Biotech" as I've graduated with a biochem degree, it's fun to hear more angles than the specific thing you've majored in.

Lastly, I'm trying to stay in shape through cycling. Want to pick up running if my knee allows it. Perhaps also train some of my back/core/grip strength in the process, but I need to find the time/effort for this.

I guess that's the gist of it. I'd love to write some stuff here and there, but I've barely got the time for what's on my plate right now, so this (and researching certain topics) are on hold at the moment..
