Agreed. I still am supremely disappointed by Last though

Last has been disappointing for a very long time now. At some point it's not a fluke.

gg. It's a joy to wake up and start the day to this level of sc. Looking forward to next Tuesday now.

I've never seen something like this...I'm sorry to say...I may get banned....is Last simply an idiot? or is it a psychological thingy on stage? how can he get 0-2ed????

Jebus. Snow has huge balls. If that marine just went up a bit more. Damn.

These are the two with the highest stakes and it could be good for the quality of the games if the players could play with a less anxious state of mind. Its so brutal for some of these players to only get two games and then "see you next time"

i know you guys are in shock with last but what do u think about miso vs snow?
|
People are giving Last way too much of a hard time. There's always a considerable chance that a great player has a streak of bad luck over an extended period of time. If your average winrate per game isn't somewhere around 70%, you're gonna bust out of a lot of tournaments before you make it big once. And even with such a winrate, success is nowhere near guaranteed. Last's recent performances are all well within standard deviation.

Initial thought on the result: Snow threw away a pretty much sealed victory. However: Miso is probably familiar with Snow's play and did exactly what he had to do to in order to win. The 1 DT could have backfired really hard on Miso, he really went all out all in.
I'm pretty sure Snow's building placement could be improved... It would probably help his building timings...

They didn't show my fan sign on stream, but in light of the result I wanted to post it here:

thank god another zerg made it through. hydra busts are always satisfying.
i feel this map pool is really out to get flash and the other terrans are collateral damage. that being said, both those terrans played pretty badly. last seemed to think he beat a zerg with pure wraith/valkyrie.

Maybe I'm over exaggerating. But watching that last game I almost thought Snow’s proxy Reaver push could be meta changing. But I guess if it really becomes that common all the T’s have to do is scout it. That’s half the meta knowing what to expect. As soon as something becomes normal people find a way to counter it and people have to do something else again. Anyway fun games.

Snow's last game was really exciting. And Miso/Where's performance was stunning. Seems like Z>T on Sparkle. And that was funny that Tasteless said games on Sparkle look like the back or the Starcraft box. I remember how many fanboys Last had. I enjoyed it when he got knocked out this morning. I also think Flash will pick Miso/Where as his first opponent in the ro16. I wish Flash would grow some **** and choose a Protoss. TvZ too easy for Flash.

The interviews were mostly over when I checked in... guess I'll have to alot an extra 15 mins next time. Kinda tough being a Last fan these days. Hope his business venture goes well. But I just now got a chance to review the interviews on VOD, and I'm actually more disappointed Mong didn't make it.
If anyone needs to be in the Ro16 selection, it's Mong! At least Shine is there. I'm reminded of the ASL3 Ro16 selection where Best was pretending Mong has some unstoppable TvT build so Flash wouldn't relocate Mong. Hilarious.
Anyway, props to Snow, and esp Miso. I caught a moment of his stream earlier, and he was going nuts... wearing shades, and doing a spastic drummer impersonation. He's obviously ecstatic.

Also, the answer to SnOw's build is to scout the proxy robo and bunker rush it. fyi
