It will increase the pp but make stuff a lot harder to acc so seems fair, but sliders are underrated on aim as well I thought. Not 100% but in aim calculations isn't each tick basically treated as a circle to account for combo breaks and this means you only get rewarded for the shortest possible path you take to follow them? So sliders that are just glorified hold notes don't reward you even though you might be playing them 'properly'. Seems weird to implement it globally on new maps instead of introducing a mod as well, would be nice to have it on older maps as well. (Assuming it doesn't get applied backwards and fuck up leaderboards completely). Still won't change pp calculations not taking into account complexity which is more of a factor than slider acc though. | ||

scorev2 is more complicated, but score is score. Most people don't really care about score. there's a ton of room to just keep maps basically the same, but add extra PP from sliders based on acc and aim. Right now, sliders don't count as hit objects AT ALL (the map length variable is based on the circle count). They're also not counted at all for acc afaik. Not 100% sure what is or isn't counted. With these changes, sliders should be worth at least as much as circles - they'll be like circles with an added component | ||

Fun jump map, reminds me of nyan nyan drive a bit with the patterns. Managed to get all the way up to the crazy jumps at the end then insta died even though it's only hp2. Going to try playing just the end jumps to get my aim up a bit. Need more low bpm high spacing jump maps, only have that one and https://osu.ppy.sh/b/838211&m=0 that come to mind. | ||

Played some ranked again, went from 16k past 13k. Yay! In the screenshot you see my new top rank:193pp. It's by far the easiest 4+ star map I've played in mania lol. Training is paying off though; I hope I'll be getting comfortable on 4+ star maps in general soon. | ||

Many of the good maps start around 3-4 stars. When you have not played for very long your rate of improvement can also be very fast which is fun. ---- I've gained 586pp (+15.5% over what i had) in the last year and a half since my #1 play (that was a damn nice one, i've been happy not to replace it for a while :D) playing mostly casually for a lot of that time, coming back some recently. Playcount over time: I just hit level 100 and 25k plays at about the same time --- Just got a nice pass! :D some improvement on reading & speed but very questionable aim at times lololol | ||

Feels doable, hit all the actual jumps and just shitmissed too much. If I can get even a 95% FC it would beat my top score by about 40pp lol. Of all the cheaters getting busted this is definitely the one I was most looking forward to! | ||
