A little more than three years ago, I did look up the actual amount of time but I don't want to put the lyrics to a certain song from Rent in your ear, I sat down and stole the first of many moments of time from my then employer to write about the balance between life, Starcraft, and that same shitty job I had. Lo and behold, now closer to thirty than to twenty I'm still here and having flipped through many of my blogs since that first one it has been a roller coaster ride through my mid twenties that I am glad I documented in some way shape or form.

Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes...
I did some checking and with this blog, from what I can tell, I'll be the 11th user to have made it to 100 blogs on Team Liquid; in an odd, humble braggy kind of way I'm pretty proud to be apart of that eleven. Though a fair few of my blogs have come from a misanthropic, cynical or dark place in a, "you only can pick two," kind of way I have absolutely loved having a venue to spitball about what has been on my mind at any given moment; from video games, to that one blog I did on politics and never went back to, to my oh so popular Star Trek blogs which are far and away the most viewed stuff I've written on TL.
Let's do some breaking down though, because I have these neat metrics on blog viewership that are kind of cool.
Slow going those first few months, but that first Blog was about six months after I started posting in earnest on TL
Sub 1k posts, and views are about where you'd expect them to be, spending some amount of my time wondering how Shellshock has enough time to post as much as he does until I finally put student+LR threads together gets you to however many million posts he is up to these days.
The upshot when you work the early shift, and there are GSLs to be watched, you get to know the fine folks in the Starcraft LR threads. Still sorry about Prime Lorning.
The funny thing is that these also correlate very closely to my employment history.
Big Spikes for the DS9 is better than TNG Star Trek Blog, as well as some personal drama/training at work. Stay Tuned because next on General ThomasJServo: Julio will reveal that he is really Julio's evil twin Two-lio and there is a bomb at Virginia's wedding across town.
The funny thing about this view, as related to my job, is that the spikes you see are times when I am in training at a new job and have time to fuck around on TL as I will. Early Summer 2014 I had just started at my current position and late 2016 I had just changed departments and as such am/was still being trained on the baser processes for daily workflow.
I should really think about leveraging these as examples of how hard I am actually working on what they pay me to do. My boss would surely appreciate that I've had to drop a lot of TL activity or limit it to discussing Heroes of the Storm for actual work... mostly.
Long story short TL, I wanted to take some time out of my morning that I can't work due to system issues and thank you for reading these things and for being my favorite online sounding board. Maybe in another 3 years I'll hit that sweet, sweet 200 mark.
