Note1: wasd can be used to move the camera, and mouse wheel to zoom. Note2: multiplayer doesn't work on the web build, selecting 'Find Match' will crash the game
After my last simple game I know I have to make something that is much better. As I look on the app store for idea, I notice that there is no RTS game that I would enjoy playing on the smartphone. Clash of Clan and its clones are not 'real' RTS. Eufloria is awesome but it lacks multiplayer. I want to share with casual gamers at least 5% of what make me love StarCraft. I HAVE to make this game.
There's still a lot of work left to be done, especially in the graphical department. Perhaps I could have waited a bit before putting it up for show, but I need feedback. How does the game feel? Is the tutorial good enough? How fair is my AI? etc. Any criticisms is appreciated. I hope I can get it up on iOS and android by the end of February!
The controls/UI is REALLY clunky feeling, however, it has a lot of potential.
I suggest you consider spending time just redoing UI design after UI design after UI design (make a ton) and then sort through and pick 1 to use. It needs to be user friendly and I should be able to get a general idea of what the buttons do. Currently it's like the Dualshock Controller where I'm just like "so... which shape was punch again...?"
OK for a touchscreen game. Still lacking, but not bad especially for being so early in development.

One comment of a more cosmetic nature: the narration should refer to the player as "Commander" rather than "commander"
Yeah, I'll have to redesign some of the buttons. I wonder if I should add more stuff to the tutorial as well, hmm... Anyway, thanks for your feedback and the grammar correction :D

The game is designed for touchscreen so I have to compromise a bit for the platform. Exactly the same issue that TB addresses in that video. It's not all bad though. I don't have the expertise to make a complex RTS game by myself; creating a less complex one for touchscreen is much more doable. I'm not sure if I have it in me to design a perfect UI, but I'll try my hardest. Thanks for your feedback
I kill the memory, when i try to play the game. Too much production. Took me a while to get on an even level with medium, would like to know how far i can go. Funny little doodler.

Not worth listening to. Being rich enough to be noticed does not make one an expert in anything.
YES! Nina posts on my blog.

Some browser versions might not support the game. Try using firefox.

Yeah, this is probably not the most original idea haha. Though, I failed find a game with similar concept on Kongregate when I was looking for inspiration.
i get message "you need a web browser that supports webGl" and then:
"the Browser could not allocate enough memory for the WebGL content. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating less memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings."
I am using Firefox on windows xp, the latest version of Firefox
Edit: if someone could post a vod of how the gameplay is it would be appreciated. I wanted to know what kind of sounds they are going on.

I see. The web version is put up just for show so it's badly optimized for the browser (it hogs ram really hard right now). You are not missing much, there's not even sound effects for the game right now. Thanks for showing interesting, though! I hope I can get the game done by the end of the month.
