Not a good time on that day of the week for me personally.

I mean sure a little bit later would be better, but that spot is for csgo apparently.

In theory should be way more than the previous days. But I'm not sure it'll happen. I mean, if I lived West of the Atlantic Ocean I wouldn't stay up till 5 AM to watch this live when I can watch VODs at a more convenient time.

Well but apparently the venue closes at like 3PM, so the schedule was tricky to begin with. So you either have no sc2 at the main stage for the grand final, or you have it at 11AM But yeah overall i think this Dreamhack wasn't worthy of the WCS lable tbh, very disappointed and if that is all we will get then i don't see it doing all too well. We need hype, we need added video content about the players, we need a big stage a lot earlier.

Is this the first time we've had just the finals of a weekend tournament on the last day? Can't say I like this trend at all

If you look at this bracket, and the names in it - Snute, MarineLord, Lilbow, FireCake, State, Huk, Nerchio, Harstem - ro think that none of those players made the Top 8, and we have a final between Drogo and Bly, it really is quite an incredible tournament we've had this weekend. Yes, they both made major LAN finals before, but those were generally considered flukes, and neither of them were considered top-tier foreigners at the start of this weekend.
If Leipzig is supposed to be an indicator for what we should expect in Katowice, then this year is gonna be pretty fun.

Especially considering that this audience watched the same tournament on a saturday evening/night. It isn't the best spot possible, but it isn't bad at all. Even less so when looking at the context (3pm deadline)

The context like the venue for day 1& 2 is totally dreamhack's responsibility. Basically i expect a good chunk of our audience to be hang over, sleeping or doing family stuff. You won't attract anyone outside of the hardcore audience with such a setting. Which means that the views for this event are at least quite bad overall.
