Based on the official Police investigation, only the above players have been implicated in matchfixing. There is no reason to further accuse other players and teams until we get more information. Incessant blind accusations will not be tolerated. Please read the thread and the updates before posting. As of page 54 we will be moderating against match fixing accusations for players who were not caught in this incident, including those using voided Pinnacle bets as evidence.

Thought the Starcraft players in the scene would have learned from the first time. Sad day for Starcraft.

Gerrard didn't care about Prime's SC2 team but paid his full attention on his LoL team. More ironically, even his LoL team cannot have five enough good computers to practice LoL, so Gerrard took iG (invictus Gaming, the Chinese pro team)'s two computers for practicing and never returned them. What's more, Gerrard took ByuN's top-class personal computer (which values about $1,200) to team house, not only never returned it, but sold it for money. It is sad to see both Gerrard and Prime as SC2 veteran come to such an shameful end. Of all the things I've read about this scandal, this is the worst. That would explain why ByuN was basically no show for nearly 2 years. Yeah but he is a talented player, I wonder why he didn't join another team. Maybe the experience made him lose trust in people overall and he decided to just avoid teams altogether. I would second this. ByuN's trust must have gotten burned badly. Forget joining a team, he wasn't even playing the game. Except for all those weekly leagues he was winning I cannot remember who said that, but someone pointed out that HyuN won in their league so many times they are searching for someone who is able to defeat HyuN :-) There was a very long period of time when ByuN didn't play a single televised game. We basically confirmed his retirement based on hearsay when other players in the Korean scene assumed he had retired. Holy Batman on a nuclear powered pogo stick! I have not realized how long it was! Accept my apology, sir!

I never read her saying exactly that. Are you sure it's not just Prime she was referring to..? Anyway, I would be really surprised if Blizzard comments on this. They have a new expansion right around the corner, and word of matchfixing surely cannot be good for marketing. It's also not really their territory. I wonder how much this might hurt them. I don't suspect it will be that bad, but still, matchfixing in the two most competitive leagues for the game? Some of what she said was already corroborated by other tournament organizers and matches up with what happened here: mysterious sponsors who are actually gamblers using 'sponsorship' as a way to get close to teams/players. In her accusation these 'sponsors' would suggest players to invite to the online cups, presumably because they had influence over what they were going to do. Here you had the gamblers after getting in via sponsorship going directly to players or using their brokers. The part about 'sponsors' stream cheating doesn't apply to this case of course, but does show you how creative these guys can get.
