YoDa, B4, Gerrard arrested for match-fixing - Page 61
Forum Index > SC2 General |
Based on the official Police investigation, only the above players have been implicated in matchfixing. There is no reason to further accuse other players and teams until we get more information. Incessant blind accusations will not be tolerated. Please read the thread and the updates before posting. As of page 54 we will be moderating against match fixing accusations for players who were not caught in this incident, including those using voided Pinnacle bets as evidence.

The last years they've experienced so much hardship, They have so much bad press, it's understood that the motive was based around the debt, their teams in SC2 and LoL are the worst in the business and have been for years, whatever small value the brand had is gone. They're done for.

I like the zero tolerance policy and consequence from Kespa though.

I never read her saying exactly that. Are you sure it's not just Prime she was referring to..? Anyway, I would be really surprised if Blizzard comments on this. They have a new expansion right around the corner, and word of matchfixing surely cannot be good for marketing. It's also not really their territory. I wonder how much this might hurt them. I don't suspect it will be that bad, but still, matchfixing in the two most competitive leagues for the game?

Flat out lying to a friend like that, what a fucking prick Unfortunately savior even managed to top even that... He actually looked at his coach's eyes (Coach Cho from CJ was like a father figure to all players) and told him he is innocent. When I read that I felt utmost hatred for savior.

The words from MC and now TOP, it's so frustrating, so upsetting. There are so many people who love this game so much. They give their all every day, trying so hard to survive and thrive in an environment that is difficult to say the least. And to be overshadowed by the likes of these guilty cheats. I really hope the good ones can continue on and not let this discourage them, and I really hope the scene can continue to grow and achieve great things despite all this. Even as a fan I feel almost betrayed, these players had fans supporting them and cheering them on, never giving up hope, and they resort to this. It's hard to imagine how the rest of the pro players feel about this. I hope good can come out of this somehow.
