10. Black and White Elite Four Theme
To start things off, I should mention that there were several pieces that very nearly made the cut, the last three seeds were the hardest to pick, this song was the last to make the list (+ Show Spoiler +) I dunno what to tell you, its a really upbeat intense theme that really works well with the Four and their types. Shoutout to that one part of the song, you can find it at 1:19-1:29 in the link.

9. Driftveil City Theme
This is one of the most underrated songs in Pokemon, and spoilers + Show Spoiler + I had to pick between N's theme this and Nimbasa City, but in the end this song to the cake. Really catchy.

8. Tin Tower Theme
One really cool thing about Gold and Silver was the extremely Japanese feel that went with it. The most well known example of this was the Kimono Girls. Whilst they and their Eeveeloutions were rather memorable, I prefer this theme. You can tell that you are about to get into some deep shit here, and that you are messing with some very powerful forces, at least that's the feel I get.

7. ORAS Weather Trio Battle
I don't think I am wrong when I say the Pokemon games we treasure the most are the ones we complete and own first. (though I had played and nearly beat red and gold, sapphire was the first I ever owned) At least that's how it was in my case, when I found Kyogre for the first time 11-12 years ago, I couldn't believe how insane and epic the moment was, the music made that epic battle all the moreso

6. ORAS Maxie/Archie
I don't know about you but I found Archie and Maxie to be some of the most badass villians in Pokemon, this song only increased that feeling. Really heightens the sense of importance their battles contain. Just...so much fun :D

5. Time Gear
This is where I go full hipster on you and make this list my own. I have go on to say that 3rd gen was for sure my favorite, but Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky were the best spinoffs of all time. The best underrated games (I would put this in the category of extremely good games that didn't sell as well, or the "artistic/innovative games" like Psychonauts and Wind Waker), I could go on forever about how incredible these games were, but I think the reason why it was in my mind so successful was the incredible soundtrack and how well it went with the story. You have to have played the game to truly treasure this piece but trust me, its a classic.

4.Temporal Tower
Same game, pretty similar reasons. The reason why this is up higher is due to the setting, this is the last dungeon of the main story, at the end of which lies the final boss of the game. Not only that, but and I'll try to do this without spoilers, you need to hurry, you NEED to succeed, plus the tribulation you undergo RIGHT before this only increase the gravity of the situation

3.Lance/Red Battle HG/SS
Back to the main games, this one is a classic from second gen. Quite possible the beat is the most epic, and intense in all of pokemon, once again the setting amplifies the situation, Lance the Dragon Master, Champion of the Region, and the infamous Red, the greatest trainer from Kanto. Just...so epic.

2. Pokemon FR/LG Gym Leader Battle
This one doesn't receive in my opinion nearly enough love, the gym leaders from Kanto where great, and this theme just really fits incredibly well with the game as a whole, especially in the remakes Firered and Leafgreen, which I actually prefer over the originals.

1. Primal Dialga Remix 2
Unfortunately, not many people will appreciate this one at number one because once again, I'm drawing from PMD. But this song is just too good, I even ran it by hipster music expert who isnt a pokemon fan The_Templar, and received positive feedback. Once again the setting is key: all the battles you have one, all the sacrifices you made, and all the dangers you and your partner have faced, everything and the fate of the world have come down to this moment, the music could not better describe the feels...this has for the last 7 years been a joy to my ears, and without a doubt, the greatest Pokemon song ever.
