Do you intend to wait for premier ro16 for 1,5 months?

Do you intend to wait for premier ro16 for 1,5 months? No such event has been announced. Likewise, before yesterday, no schedule for WCS Premier season 1 past Ro32 was announced. The logical conclusion is that this is indeed only for WCS Premier season 1, because if it wasn't, WCS Ro16 scheduling would be on even shorter notice than it already is. Also trust the damn players to know for what they are qualified.

Well ok, my bad. Since blizzard announced the return of season finals in november, i guess i missunderstood this. Though, it definetely shuld be called WCS premier finals.

Do you intend to wait for premier ro16 for 1,5 months? I dunno if you're subtly trolling thanks to Blizzard's incompetency but here's the thing : season finals like in 2013 don't exist anymore. GSL and NSSL, the two Korean leagues, are NOT officially ran under the WCS tag like in 2013 ; they are independant tournaments (hence why they can have their own map pool) that award the same number of points as the official WCS. Thus we have WCS finals that only includes players playing in WCS, that is, not the players playing in GSL/NSSL. And yes, it looks like we'll wait 1,5 month until the Ro16 of WCS.

Blizzard is ridiculous when it comes to SC2 this year.

Yeah, keep blaming the players. That's how they'll love this scene where Blizz/ESL screw them up, and the community is happy to blame them for "whining".
Keep on if you don't like Starcraft, you're doin' it right.

Most of "It's your job!" crowd here does not realises that the event is during EASTER!
I wonder if you would be so willing to go out and do your job if the boss said you need to do it during christmas/new year/easter, when he clearly could arrange any other more suitable date. Especially the guys who need to undertake 18-24h trip to even get to Europe...
This is just a big slip up from Blizzard.

This is just a big slip up from Blizzard. Doesn't matter. People here have made it 100% clear that if you are a progamer you give up 100% of your life and completely dedicate yourself to being available at all times in case a tournament is announced on short notice.

anyone that dislikes that can stay out of the scene. is not that hard.

I just can't shake the fact that everyone would have been happier if at least the dates were announced in advance. IIRC both GSL and NSSL disclosed the entire S1 schedule in one announcement, then followed up with the finals venue; if that was done for WCS S1 I don't think any of the foreigner frustrations (mostly around not knowing when the next round was) would have happened..
Also whoever said Kane is a child that has "no family to attend to"... it scares me that you don't treat your parents as family. With the vacation in question, Kane is "attending to" his older family (including his parents that brought him into this world) which have just as much a right for his "family time" as his future wife and children.

This is just a big slip up from Blizzard. I dunno, sounds convenient that it's on Easter to me. I doubt any pro-gamer is going to be celebrating Easter holiday... Maybe they can even have Easter egg hunts at the event. Wouldn't that be cute?
While I definitely think dates should be as finalized as soon they can be, and announced asap (like most sports tournaments are), this is something he should inquire about prior to making arrangements. Kane is just going to have to make some REAL LIFE decisions. This is probably good for him.

Of course, but still I wouldn't put any WCS player in the world Top 16 by far.
