There is always room for more staff in Teamliquid, you just have to try contributing in some way and get noticed. This post is specifically for writers only, but there is a heroes Liquipedia page you could start editing as well if that is more up your alley.

Since I uninstalled starcraft 2 entirely and have no intention on ever touching that game ever again, Heroes has my full attention when I'm online. PM me an application! any heroes related writing sample will do ^^

The person who asked earlier seemed to be coming from the stance of writing for TL vs. not writing at all. I write because I like it, but what do I get for getting told what I can and can't do? And experience doesn't count. I already have experience working for a similar writing machine, and while it was a good experience, its also nicer to work solo a lot of the time. Throwing my input in here: Working for TL has been a wonderful experience for me, not only learning a lot of basics about the publishing process and collaboration, but also getting to meet a bunch of like-minded individuals who share the same passions. The people I've met through TL have become close friends and excellent people to talk to about the game as well as real-life problems. Although our recruiting is a bit formal, it's mainly to just make sure we're recruiting people who have the potential and dedication to produce consistent quality content; sometimes we even reach out to individuals producing their own content and ask them to join the team because we know we'll get a lot out of their collaboration (in fact, this is how I originally started writing for TL). The TL writing staff always gives credit for articles, and never steals ideas or articles just so we can have them under the TL banner. The biggest perk to writing specifically for TL is the extra exposure under the TL banner that you usually can't quite get as an individual. That said, even on staff, we're more than welcome to write our own pieces (look at Phantom's recent editorial on ranking) as well as contribute to the group with guides, event coverage, etc. Simply put, it's just a team dedicated to making sure we produce consistent, quality content for the community.

I'm not much of a writer, more of a proofreader. And I don't follow tourney stuff, so nothing to write about there. All I'd really have to talk about is strategy; and I'm not sure there's much to say there that isn't well covered already.
