PartinG interview via DailyEsports regarding his departure from SK Telecom T1
Q: How did you come to leave SK Telecom T1?
A: I really missed foreign tournaments. To compete in them I thought it would be better to join a foreign team instead of a Korean team. MC talked about KeSPA teams and foreign tournaments in a previous interview, and I really agreed with what he had to say.
Honestly I had planned to only stay on SKT for 2013 and then move to a foreign team. However, I felt that I didn't produce any results to show Korean fans, so I stayed on for one more year. Recently, I've felt that money isn't everything. I miss the passion from the foreign fans who used to cheer for me.
Q: Have any foreign teams given you offers?
A: The story broke just now, but I've already received an offer. I think things will be determined around next month.
Q: There will be a region lock in WCS starting next year. Do you think going to a foreign team will go smoothly?
A: Honestly the region doesn't matter. What's important to me is tournaments like DreamHack, HomeStory Cup etc. When I played in foreign tournaments in 2012, I played with "fighting" and I miss the passion from the fans.
In a way, I was raised in the 'wild' so it was hard to adjust to the SK Telecom zoo. The team was really good to me, but it was hard to fix the habits ingrained in me.
Q: Anything to say to the fans?
A: The reason I'm leaving the team is to enjoy the game. In the past, money was important, but now I've come to know that money isn't everything. I want to go back. Over the course of a year, SK Telecom was really good to me. I give them thanks, and I want to tell the fans and the people at SKT that I'm sorry.

I'm guessing AcerPartinG.

This makes sense, respect and hope he does well in Dreamhack, HSC etc (something tells me he will)
|
PartinG such free spirit.

If Parting is talking HSC, he must assume he'll be getting an invite. If he's getting an invite, that means the team in question is most likely European. I don't think he's gonna go to the GEM house, but it's cool, and unsurprising, to see he's already found somewhere new.

There should be a liquibet for this EG Liquid Acer Dead Pixels

I'm actually going to guess Evil Geniuses.
Parting perfectly fits the kind of bill that EG likes in their players. He's got an attitude and he relishes the spotlight.
EG hasn't made any moves in SC2 for a long while and their sole champion Jaedong has been very underwhelming this year.
Time seems perfect if i'm them and Parting is the perfect player for them.

Acer seems like the most likely team to me.

That is sick news. I can't wait to see who you sign with.

This was a nice interview.
|
If this means we'll see PartinG trash talk other players at foreign tournaments then I'm all for it.

mYi is my second bet, but something about this just screams Evil Geniuses.
They've been all but irrelevant this year thanks to Jaedong's slump and if they wanted to make a splash to make themselves known again (big IF i know) then there really isn't a better player than Parting.

Acer said earlier this year that they'll sign a Protoss when Nerchio calls the race balanced.
