that s why he s writing fantasy, it s set in an alternate universe where all of Zealously predictions are correct and there is a magical benediction (it s like the opposite of a curse) and every player hopes to get the Zealously benediction

A lot of it is actually tied to plot-specific things that I'd prefer to not spoil, but I named an important character after Life.

Congrats!
I think it's somewhere in the vicinity of average for a novel of this length. I spent nearly a hundred hours brainstorming and crafting the world after I had the initial idea, and some 2-300 revising, changing and rearranging. All in all, some 7-800 went into the actual process of writing, and it felt like a lot but I don't think it's an enormously large amount of time all things considered.

I vaguely remember you being from Sweden, or do you just live there? I have long wanted to start writing for real too, but never got my ass in gear because I want to write in English but am too insecure about it because it's only my second language. I really need to stop making excuses :/ People like you are my motivation.
It's my real name. I'm of Welsh ancestry, though my family has been "based" in Sweden for a while.
You should definitely try it! If you enjoy writing and creating your own worlds and stories, I can't think of anything more satisfying than getting to do it for yourself. The first "serious" story I wrote was terrible, both in terms of story and language. I know it's boring to hear but without trying you'll never know if you can be any good at it. I'd be happy to read it if you choose to go for it

There is. It can be done through Amazon, for example, but it's not really preferrable since much fewer people are likely to read it. If I can't find a publisher, Amazon is probably the way to go.

Let's put it this way: my predictions can't be wrong if I literally set the rules for the entire world down to the sub-atomic level. Maybe. I think. I hope.

So much congrats Zealously! I dunno if I will be able to in the U.S. but I would purchase your book if it were to be published :D
As a guy who has poured tons of time into his own novel (in progress but likely never to be finished TT) I know how hard this is. Well done

You will need to tell us what all the ESPORTS references are though

be careful in sending anything to an agent in the sense that if after sending your stuff in nothing happens keep close tabs on what he works on / gets published

Quickly now, begin the sequel without a moment to spare! Continue the flow, and marvel at how much you've improved having completed a whole novel . Even if this doesn't get the attention of some chobo working the slush pile, you'll have improved so much by the time you finish your next novel that it definitely will. And if The Hunt does get attention, it's very smart of you to already have a sequel in the works. Much stronger than the open-hinged proposition of "sequel." Consider a stand-alone (or a "stand-alone" with well worked hooks) for your next adventure! You're determined as all hell, mad props Zealously.
I call dibs on an advanced copy, keke.
