TL! You have been amazing to me, especially in the first 2-3 years since I joined. I found a love for Brood War, I grew passionate for it and followed the proscene heavily for about a year. Slowly this website became my e-home, being opened every time I went online to check the Liquibets, then to Tournament results, reading LR threads, participating in Fantasy Drafts, briefly discussing my first relationship in the dating thread, SO MUCH!
I cannot stress how much I have come to love this site, the wonderful opinions, even if belligerent, were enlightening to perspectives I don't normally have. My favorite memories of TL itself would have been my anxious days in the Mafia forum. The community there, I will miss you guys (I'm done with league too!) You guys, seriously dealt with my shit for 3 years I'd be proud to even be acquaintances with most of you guys. Even named a gimmick after me, I do feel accepted after my stint during my early high school years. I can't play mafia anymore, I'm sorry to say, I never had time this year, so I suspect I'll never ever have time again.
Even with the rise of SC2 and the subordination of BW, I grew fond of the LoL subforum and I do believe it gave me a great deal of perspective to help me think about the game a little more. Like I said, I enjoyed the opinions on this forum. By far, the best personalities on the internet. But I am done with this. I am saying bye. I'm not even that important! It only sates me to bid farewell.
