Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book. |

They need to start figuring out how they should end each season.
They also have, you know, weapons in the scene you give.
It feels a lot less convincing when you say "They're messing with the wrong people", when you're currently captured and unarmed lol. What is he going to do, yell intimidatingly at them from inside the box?

Carol starts killing civilians off and then gets banished, Hershel dies, the prison gets destroyed, Carol has to kill her adopted kids, we meet the three new characters, Beth gets kidnapped, Rick devolves from a farmer into a throat-tearing survivalist, and the group gets kidnapped by what seems to be cannibals. But yeah aside from completely changing the dynamic of the show and killing off a main character and having character development, nothing happened. Sorry, you're right. I should have said it felt like nothing at all happened since the destruction of the prison. Last 6 episodes or so felt like pure filler to introduce even more unlikely storylines.

They need to start figuring out how they should end each season. As someone above said, they actually have weapons in that scene, making what Rick says far more credible. Not to mention not having an arm makes him more kick-ass in general. The whole scene just didn't have nearly the same impact in the show.
Just like the guy at the start of the episode who got eaten by zombies. I read somewhere that in the comics, he was a guy who decided to commit suicide-by-zombie, then changed his mind at the last minute. That perfectly explains everything about that scene... only the show did not explain any of that. It just showed the guy with no context whatsoever.
The show (like any other show) is supposed to work independently of its source material. I have a feeling that this show, very often, simply does not work without knowing the comics.

Actually it was them deciding not to help someone in need and being totally selfish, and is a parallel to the Terminus group who are completely focused on their own survival over helping those in need, in addition to contrasting them both over the Wanderers who are completely selfish and will go out of their way to cause harm because "fuck you that's why"

Don't forget about the bag of guns that he burried just outside of terminus. If they can get access to that, the tables will turn fast

I'm just annoyed that there was no exposition whatsoever about who that guy was and why he got there. It felt completely random and arbitrary, and pretty much like a blatantly obvious plot point. "We need to show the audience that the group's first goal is to survive, even if outsiders die because of it. So let's spawn a random outsider in need and not have Rick's group help him!"

Yeah, they're definitely a bunch of canibals. If you rewatch the scene where they are being herded by the gunners, there are a lot of things to see. First: gunholes everywhere. They aren't the first people to be gunned down that road. Second: Rick passes a whole bunch bones on his way. I paused the view and they are definitely human bones.
Picture from the series in the spoilers: + Show Spoiler +
Edit: picture isn't very clear, but you get the idea.
Spoiler from the Comics: + Show Spoiler +Warning you + Show Spoiler +I knew canibals were coming, but I'm very surprised to see it's such a big group still alive. Doesn't really seem all that realistic (well, aside from the fact that it's a serie about Zombies). They would need to be hoarding in a lot of people to feed so many people. In the strips it was just a small group of people abducting a single person as they found them an eat them while keeping him alive as long as possible.

+ Show Spoiler +Don't fucking predict in this thread please. You've read the series you know what's going to happen. Same thing ruins the GoT thread. People "predicting" what's going to happen when they alrdy know 100% and are just spoiling people.

The things I said are backed up by proof from the series... No need to get all defensive about it. I can still be wrong and will be the first one to admit if I am.
|
It's pretty much 100% obvious they're cannibals. Attacking him over something 99% of people reading this thread are most likely already thinking makes no sense at all.

Until he "predicts" stuff no one else thought of because he knows way more than everyone else.

If he completely spoiled next season's plot, we'd probably be pissed but it's something that we all considered pretty obvious.

The series and comics are different enough that predicting the show from the comics usually doesn't work out.
|
+ Show Spoiler +Besides, if he didn't read the comic spoiler tags he couldn't even have known I read the comics in the first place. But whatever, doesn't matter.

I don't care about Walking Dead spoilers as much as other stuff for some reason. It's obvious I read it. But whatever, looks like I'm alone in this regard so I'll just be on my way.

I thought everything they said in the scene where they were serving food made it obvious that they were cannibals. "When we absorb people, we grow stronger" etc.

How the fuck did Daryl's group even know that Rick was the one who killed that guy in the bathroom anyway?

Hey, I didn't saw Tyreese. Guess he had more meat and was the one being cooked.

Tyreese wasn't part of the first group that came there. Him and Carol and the baby are still out there. When Rick gave his line in last scene, he was actually talking about Carol :D

The whole scene with Daryl's group was just stupid and it put me in a bad mood so I couldn't enjoy the rest of episode. It got much better later but I still feel a little disappointed with this finale. Overall I think it was the best season since the first one. Zombies are no longer just a fence decoration and they got rid of most of annoying characters. Groups are constantly on the move so we get to see new people and locations which is much better than the boredom of farm/prison.
About the spoilers, if someone predicts something and then follows it up with comic stuff in the same post then naturally I assume that his predictions are actually spoilers. Do you think it's paranoid?
