Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

Why the fuck don't you ask him how it all fucking started? God. It's obvious that they're not going to reveal it anytime soon (if ever), but having the characters not even wanting to know how the end of the world started is just.. what the fuck? Yep. It makes absolutely no sense for them not to immediately want him to tell them.

Like, the first part with the claimed gang was great. Carl and Michonne's heart to heart was a pretty good bit of writing. The chase through the town was pretty suspenseful (seeing all the different scenes through Terminus made me giddy). But then the end? Ugh gotta wait until the fall now I guess.

The cheesy line + the random flashbacks (I guess they were trying to contrast Rick's character? seemed pointless) + the completely mistimed cliffhanger just killed it for me. The point of the flashbacks was to see the start of Rick turning away from brutality and out of the flashbacks Rick was turning back to brutality in order to survive and protect not only his son but the ones he knows and cares about. It was just mentioned on Talking Dead with Scott Gimple and Andrew Lincoln. But yeah that cliffhanger was pretty bad lol the overall episode was pretty damn good except for that

Sure, and it made sense when he was killing those dudes in the beginning (since that was the most contrasting point), but then to keep having them throughout the episode felt kinda strange. Did we really need a flashback of them shoveling and smiling right before the one-liner at the end?

I guess it was meant to portray that Rick is in full on Rick mode and has accepted brutality and isn't looking back at what he had and lost. I dunno what they were thinking with that final scene but its just a guess Andrew Lincoln addressed the final scene and I already forgot what he said damnit lol

I thought the first half of the episode was very good but the cliff hanger was dumb and so was the storm trooper aim at the end I do not like having zero info on tyrese carol Beth etc If you payed attention you would notice that they werent shooting to kill they were shooting to make them go a certain way.

I thought that was clear from the first 10sec of being shot at. They were being caroled like cows into a pasture. They wanted them to hit a dead end and be shoved into a crate with everyone else. Was scared to death they were gonna blow Carl away at the end and just end it with slow zoom up of Rick's face as the ending.
