I'd be the most obvious scum in the world if I had to react to everything live. So am I!!! Just ask rayn lol... It's a good place to improve since it's so fast paced!
It's a completely different game, though, so it doesn't teach much about forum play (disclaimer: I haven't played with the TL crowd).

Thinking about joining normal mini mafia if I know at least two other people in it >_>

Ehh... I kinda disagree. It 100% helps overall mafia skills, and DEFINITELY helps for fast paced style forum play that is very popular on this forum.
Plus we play with a similar setup style to how the forum is played, where you have flips and the voting style etc. The only thing that is super different is you can base a lot of your reads on voice tells.

Well, all the voice/IRL games I've played have ended up being based on mostly behaviour/voice analysis, which is completely different from the forum style of content analysis. So hasn't been very helpful at all.
As for why I no longer play voice/IRL... I can not, even if my life depended on it, hide emotions/excitement from my voice (and behaviour) so I just get caught on D1 every time as scum and that's boring. That, and not being very good at pronouncing English properly. And being somewhat, uhm, challenged when it comes to reading others' emotional state.

Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun, real life just seemed to always get in the way and impacted my play. Although who knows, maybe I'll get an itch to play and change my mind. I had fun playing with you too Balla, I liked having consistency in players across the newb games.

On that note: for the rest of the newbies here! If you enjoyed it make sure to keep an eye out for the next newbie game should be going up soon, not sure who is hosting, or try your hand at one of the other games. There's a mini that's looking for players and a large PM game (25 players) as well. Also feel free to /obs any game that you don't want to play in to participate in the observer QT where often times skilled players are giving their thoughts on the game as it goes on.
Enjoy!

GG guys, thanks for the game.
@Lonemeow, really nice run,and the flavor was really good imo. Acutally read it this time around
@Artanis, good job as coach. I prolly should have used you more, but I found it hard to ask you stuff without asking for to much
This was a pretty rough game for town, we got schooled pretty much. I felt Balla and Johnny was pretty clearly town early on, so they did a really good job on that. theDragoon you managed to put up a good defence in the end, it was a bit late. But for next time just do the same and you will hopefully be able to sway people away from you. dnyarri you lurked like hell but you came through pretty towny in the end so that was well done aswell. I have no idea what that theChyz play was at the end, and at that point I started to get frustrated with how the game was going.
Tbh I felt it was easier reading people in II Titanic, might just be because there was more posts there in general. And also stronger players that could lead me! (DP / Rayn <3). I guess the good thing to take away from this game for me is that I did not get lynched. Tho I deffo need to work on my scumhunting skills cause they are close to non exsistant...
|
OWB you should play voice mafia, that's a shitton of fun!
|
Yeah dnyarri good job on coming back from being number one lynch target at the start of Day 2.
I could tell you were putting in the effort in the latter part of the game and you definitely made things harder for mafia as a result.
|
|
Shouldn't have gotten yourself lynched P
|
@thedragoon actually I would make the same play even if i was town. You should have seen my previous game as VT, I tunneled much harder than in this game.
|
Suki you played well. Balla's better than me at making cases by the way. Much better. I get a feeling but don't relate it to other people well enough.
And again, suki you crushed this game. From 1-14 obs qt
Scum lynched active players. If suki is scum they deserve this win.
|
As an aside for myself I should have tunneled bigdad harder. Easy to say now, I know this. I hated that early play.
|
Oh yeah, since mafia's ruined my ability to hit the edit button I'll be cohosting [M][N] GSL Open Mini Mafia IV - due to start after Bug's (Blazinghand is host)
It's not due to start for a couple weeks but come and play.
