My mouse was broken and I needed to get a new one. Since usually the mouse I use comes with the computer, I didn't know what was a good price. I wasn't into serious gaming or anything, so I figured that the cheapest mouse would be good for me. I decided to go driving around town for awhile, going to random computer stores and such. I picked up a decent $3 balled mouse at a local store. Then I went home and realized it was a PS/2 plug, and my computer only took USB. SOOO I decided to give that to my mom, and I continued hunting for that mythical, coveted cheap USB mouse. I somehow ended up in Circuit City (usually sells expensive mice) and I found THIS: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Nexxtech-Wireless-Optical-Mouse-NWOM5/sem/rpsm/oid/161521/catOid/-13017/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do A wireless, rechargeable mouse for 20 bucks? HELL YEAH!
It was an opportunity I could not pass up. It was the last one left, and it simply owned the $90 microsoft mice beside it that offered the same options.
So now that lonely mouse has found a happy owner
EDIT: OH FUCK 90% of the reviews say that the mouse dies out later. CRAPP.

the mythical, cheap USB mouse?
logitech op mini :D

Well actually I later found $10 opticals in that local computer store, but it's too late now. Hopefully my mouse is like, the special one that will not defect for 80 years or something. Crap I don't want to feel like I wasted 20 bucks.
WORK WORK WORK FOREVER!!

personally, I wouldn't buy any brand that i've never heard of
Well-known brands are more expensive, no doubt- but their reliability is bar none.
Logitech MX518 ftw :D
GL with your mouse though

Your computer doesn't have PS/2 ports? What kind of computer is this?

But really, the Dell is alright. It works well. The thing with the mouse is that the standard issue rechargeable battery sucks, which MAY have been the problem with those technoobs (some reviews were like "the mouse is too fast!" I mean seriously go to control panel and ADJUST IT). It didn't work for me too, so I just switched in my panasonic rechargeable batteries I bought like 5 years ago. It's okay now, but we'll see...

i think you just got owned

hehe, i had a similar mouse. Got it for free because I work at a source by circuit city and an elderly couple claimed it didnt work because it didnt emit any light (laser mice dont emit light!).
Anyways the mouse was crap and didnt work on my black mousepad (wtf!) so i gave it away and got one of these for $30 bucks.

Just return it and get a nice laser mouse, ball mouses arent great cuz dust gets in it and you have to take it and clean it which is a pain
