I remember the first room you entered (to the right, obviously) had some UFO that came down from the ceiling and started shooting at you. Some other rooms had huge robots that basically meant instant death and there were a lot of hidden block and difficult jumping involved. Microman! I remember that game! Wasn't ringing any bells until you said hidden block + difficult jumping. + Show Spoiler + Thank you.

There was an game for PC where you were a guy in [Pink]??? Uniform running around shooting others. I remember that Rain was hurting you depleting ur hp [an health bar to be more precise] You could board mechs like in megaman X. The game had a Butterfly logo if I recall correctly. damn it was so long ago i cant remember.
Also another one.
An old-school arcade shooter. For destrying enemy ships u could earn Coins in order to upgrade ur weapons, shield etc. Also for few levels u had to engage with a Boss (big ship with many many weapons) I would really try this one out one more time. Ahh it was on pc also.

Playstation 1 game. Was side scrolling fighting game. You could play a bunch of guys and you would just fight thugs coming while moving forward on the level. You could pick up like everything, iron bars, small cans etc to use as weapons.

I don't think there were many 2D Beat 'em Ups on the PS1, so it might be easy just to scroll through the entire genre listing for the console.

I'm trying to remember 2 old playstation one games.
the first involved keeping a moving stick from hitting either wall (similar to those things where you move the hoop round the wire but inverted)
the second involved two teams of fighter jets fighting in a big tournament
any ideas?

Guys i'm looking to buy (or maybe download if can't buy) an OLD game. Remember Return fire ? I know there is a Return fire 2 but i never got my hands on it. Do you know where i can find it ? Free or paying i don't care. Just bought Earth 2140,2150,2160 on steam :p
Only a cracked version that didn't work back in the 90's. Return fighter is an AWESOME game (split screen ftw).
@unkkz Was there a level in a kitchen where you can even pick up pasteries and throw them at your oppponents ? If so i think it's... "fighting force ?" Something like that. A game that existed on Dreamcast too ? You could pick up EVERYTHING in this game to fight (like you could get a plate of steaks and throw individual steaks then the plate). This game was awesome.

Oh man Rfire :D Such a fun multiplayer game. My version works fine on my Windows 7 64bit, although I did aquire my copy in a probably less than legit way, if you know what I mean
To get it to work I ran the exe in compatibility mode for Windows 95 (not XP) and let it run in 256 colours.
Hope this helps!

Hi, I cannot remember the name of the game I played during the 90s.
You play a young squire/knight in a fantasy setting. The intro as real life actors of people of court making fun at you and sending you off to some remote location. The gameplay was in a top down view. The gameplay was split in to parts. During the day you build up a town to aquire more resources for your next day. During the night red goblin-like creatures attacked and destroyed your work. You fought them with a two handed sword. You had a strong spin attack that would make you dizzy. You could buy bombs and stuff during the day to help in the fighting.
I think the name of the game was like your goblin-like attackers where called. I'm not even sure the game was any good, but I know I had lots of fun.
-> Yes! typing this helped. I just remembered the name. + Show Spoiler +The game is " The Horde" (not so top down after all)

I've wanted to find a helicopter simulation game. The game itself is from maybe 2000? I just remember I got it on a CD like 10-15 years ago. The controls were so cumbersome that we had to play with two people, with one controlling the weaponry, but eventually I discovered how to play by myself. I think it had like five levels, eventually involving getting into some sort of volcano or cavern. The game was in 3D. I've searched for helicopter simulation games on wikipedia, but none of them seem to be the one that I was looking for.

Hey, i just remember a played another game that i want to find again. It's a Hack'n slash. Maybe from after diablo 2 ? (think so). There is no multiplayer and there was 3 playable character, you had weapons like guns. You strated in a town that was overun by monster (i think).
When you would town portal you ended up in somewhat of a lab where you would have potions and weapons etc... it's older than titan quest but i think newer than D2.

For me it seems like you're describing torchlight 1 (3 main characters <mage>, <huntress>, <warrior>) it starts in the town that is leading to a mining cave style of dungeon. Guns are for the female huntress but also she can use bow's and daggers. There is no multiplayer. its a hack 'n slash but the part where you use townportal isnt the same. using scroll will tp you to the town where you start. Also it isnt veryy old game.
