It'll probably be something shorter, but yes it looks very likely something is happening. Sonic will start confirming players starting monday.

So yeah, it'll probably be something tight and shorter. Here I'll agree with Epoxide who says it's a good start considering people have been asking for SSL9 a lot lately and a long-spanning ProLeague would be difficult to manage anyway.

In a recent interview he said no, he doesn't want the pressure. At the moment, he's not even accepting sponsored matches. However, things might change as time passes, who knows.

Popular BJ (Broadcast Jockey) Sonic is opening a new studio in attempt to gather more audience/viewers. Sonic, who operates Sonic TV, is preparing a new studio in Seoul City's Gangseo District Gayang-dong, located on the 7th floor of the Miracle Building equipped with spectator seats.Up until the recent SSL9, Sonic TV occupied a corner of an office building with booths, but with this new official studio, they hope that the players can compete in a comfortable environment. The opening day is set for the 10th, but plans on opening the studio to the public is still undecided. Sonic TV is planning on hosting an invitational tournament with fan favorites and using that opportunity to open the studio to the general public. Sonic said, "The studio isn't really any bigger than before, but I tried my best to create an environment where the players and fans can enjoy the matches. I plan on hosting a (venue with) fun series for the opening match(/ceremony) soon so please look forward to it." In other news, Sonic TV is currently hosting a tournament with teams consisting of retired Broodwar players and is gaining quite a bit of popularity.
