Korean girls in Canada wears more makeups than other nationalities, just saying. Many time I see Korean girls just popping up mirrors and apply cosmetics on subways. Chinese FOBs don't even wear them...

Lol I don't know where this make-up argument started, but I'll put in my two cents~ By the way, I'm a Korean born in Korea but then lived 11 years in Russia, 7 years in America, and 1 year in Korea (if you count 2 months for every summer I've spent in Korea from 2006-2012)
Korea has one of the highest (if not highest) plastic surgery rates per capita in the world. That is a well documented fact. However, people generalizing and telling evilfatsh1t that he can't see the correlation between plastic surgery rates and makeup is wrong. Perhaps in your culture, there is a direct progression plastic surgery = vain = must put more make up on. But because plastic surgery is so widespread, it isn't seen as a vain attempt to become super pretty (though some have these intentions as well) but many times it's just the social norm and serves as a self confidence boost. Heck, my sister and cousin both had double eyelid surgery and I've only ever seen them use make up for formal events such as concerts, banquets, and ceremonies.
Having lived in Russia (where I could also conveniently go to neighboring European countries like Estonia, Germany, France, Finland, Hungary) and now going to university at Northwestern in America, I can definitely tell you Europeans/Americans put on more makeup than Koreans. And this also applies to Korean Americans. I've seen a lot more Korean Americans put on makeup that is more conspicuous. Maybe that might be due to the fact that they apply makeup in ways that were designed for fairer skinned people? I can only guess on that part.
Also, what evilfatsh1t said about skin care is absurdly correct. If you haven't been to Korea please don't talk like you know the country. While you can regularly buy makeup in department stores, the streets are literally littered with skin care shops like TonyMoly, The Face Shop, Nature Republic, etc. As much as these stores also sell makeup, the majority of their products are skin care products like face masks, oil sheets, bb cream (which even men regularly use), hand/face lotion/creams, the list goes on forever.
I could show you a map of the Gangnam subway station underground market and show you the ratio between make-up stores and facial product stores, but that might seem a bit like overkill, so I'll stop here, hoping I've made my case clear.
But in the end I'll say this + Show Spoiler +On October 21 2013 20:10 Shock710 wrote:back to this man please also definitely one of my favourite bisu pics out there!!!

have you actually spent any significant amount of time in korea? yes, a lot of korean girls get plastic surgery but in my experience the average korean girl uses less makeup than the average girl in canada or the us (although i kinda agree with the point above that my korean friends who grew up in canada/usa seem to use more makeup than the average girl). the vast majority of what they use is bb creams and other skin care products but a lot less makeup than one would think
and fwiw, i spend a couple of months in korea every year and split the remainder of the year in canada and the us

How many of you are girls in Korea?
What is you experience in Korea based on? What you see? What you hear from Korean girls you're friends with?
If it's what you see then I have bad news for you?
If it's what you hear then I wonder about the quality of your sources, don't you? If people are actively using makeup to go for a natural look and hide that they're wearing makeup, what makes you think they would tell you about the makeup they wear?
Also, why are you all acting like BB cream doesn't count? Like? We're talking about a style of makeup where you're trying to conceal that you're wearing makeup and you acting like "lol, they're not wearing eyeliner so it's not really makeup."
?

Is Bisu playing Zerg in his games vs Killer, or is this just from Killer's POV?

i grew up in korea and spend time there every year, and my experience is based on dating girls in korea as well as girls in canada/usa, not to mention my sister/female cousins/close childhood friends etc. and what's your opinion based on? are you a girl living on korea? have you spent significant time there?
also, bb cream is to cover up blemishes of the skin rather than to hide the fact that one's wearing makeup which, you're right, essentially acts like a concealer. but if one girl wears concealer and another girl wears concealer, blush, eye shadow, eye liner, etc. then who's wearing more makeup relatively speaking?
