I think it's a fair trade ^^
I should change the grading policy from F, D, C, B, and A to Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.
+ Show Spoiler +If you were Master or GM at mathematics, you wouldn't need to take my damn precalculus course -____-' You would have entered into college at the calculus level.

what if they were GM but they were portrait farming at diamond level or lower for that GPA?

Then I would tell everyone else that I would kick the smurf out for ruining everyone else's grading curve... but in reality I wouldn't do anything and just give him whatever grade he wants.

Funny story, I love it :D

I'm trying to educate these college kids, and they're wasting their time watching LoL instead of wasting their time watching Starcraft?
haha so good

That's why I can't wear my KT Rolster jersey in public.
"Oh look, that guy watches LoL."

it's not really surprising that they'd be talking about LoL, considering there were apparently 1mil+ concurrent viewers for the world championships
(hell, I don't even play that game and I was watching because some of my friends were watching)

if you only had those 5 ranks (below Masters), they'd still think you were talking about LoL

I know how you felt, the day after the LoL season 3 championship, everyone in the hallways was talking about SKT T1, it made me feel so sad, how they could talk about SKT not knowing the history, the fame, the glory.....truly are the end times upon us

That's just sad :/ I'm in the same shit...all my colleagues play LoL,i'm the only one playing Sc2.

Oh shit... I have an SKT jersey! Not that I'll be wearing it to class, but now I'll be fearing the worst instead of the best (or the bisu or the boxer) whenever I wear it x.x

Even if the majority of people don't go back and learn about the history of the team, there are going to be at least a handful that do that wouldn't have if they hadn't heard of the LoL team.

I saw it coming sadly... too many of my friends play LoL

I guess you know how I felt when I realized you didn't want to talk to them about Bisu coming back to BW.

I had a very similar experience at my school. I'm in my third year at university, though I transferred to a new school, and this is my first year here. I have yet to make many friends, and it's hard for me to start conversation with people because not many people here seem to be in line with my interests or activities.
In my Asian culture class, I overheard a group of three friends talking about something familiar: pro gaming. And I heard team names like LGIM and SKT1 being thrown around, so I decided to be confident and approach them, asking who their favorite players were. Sure enough, they were discussing the LoL teams, and only one of them even knew what Starcraft was. I was sorely disappointed. I invited them to watch code S with me one night to show them, but I could tell they were a bit lost. I tried explaining, but they were annoyed at the concept of such a taxing game.
Let's just say i was really not too happy about that. I called them casuals.
