Race: Zerg Birthdate: 12/01/1988 Current Team: MBCGame Hero (Captain) Former Team(s): Pirates of Space (P.O.S) Nickname(s): N/A Achievements: SKY Proleague 2006 - 1st Place (MBCGame Hero) 2nd KeSPA Cup - 1st Place (MBCGame Hero) Bio Often forgotten in proteams are the 2v2 players, none so more than Kim Dong Hyun. In the 2005 player draft the team 'Pirates of Space' picked up two unbelievingly valuable additions to their team; Kim Dong Hyun and Yum Bo Sung (Sea[Shield]). The remainder of the year was uneventful for Dong Hyun but with a new proleague season just around the corner he was ready to shine. In his first Proleague game for 2006 he played against the ZvZ God, Jo Yong Ho (Chojja), and was destroyed. However, in his first 2v2 game with his partner Moon Jun Hee (Junitoss) he scored a victory. But this success was short lived as the combination lost their next 2v2 encounter. Struggling to find his position in the team, he was used as MBC's Ace against rivals CJ Entus. Dong Hyun was victorious over Park Yeong Min (Much[gm]) and secured the victory for his team. In an effort to find a suitable 2v2 combination, after trialling 6 combinations, coach Ha Tae Ki had a dilemma. The most successful team, the Park Sung Jun/Kim Taek Yong (July/Bisu), used up one of his deadliest 1v1 weapons, Park Sung Jun. He was in desperate need for a new, viable combination. Given Dong Hyun's various success in Proleague thus far, he tried a Dong Hyun/Taek Yong (Bisu) combination. This combination found success, and won the next 2 2v2 sets with ease before being stopped by CJ. The Dong Hyun/Taek Yong combination would be used throughout the remainder of the proleague season with great results and became the preferred PZ combination. In the latter half of 2006, Taek Yong became a lethal 1v1 weapon, preforming extremely well in Shinhan 2 OSL. At the conclusion of the 2006 season, Taek Yong was being used primarily as a 1v1 weapon. Dong Hyun remained good friends with his ally, aiding him in practice whenever need be; most notably in Taek Yong's preparation for the GOM TV 1 MSL Finals against Ma Jae Yoon (Savior). Dong Hyun has also shown some valiant 1v1 efforts, very reminiscent of Park Sung Jun (JulyZerg), but has met limited success in individual league. However, he has managed to clench some crucial 1v1 games for his team. In the 2007 proleague, Dong Hyun has not found another partner that he has worked that well with and fellow team mate, Jung Yung Chul (TheZerg), has become the more successful 2v2 player in MBCGame Hero. Currently, Yung Chul plays Zerg in combination with Terran and Dong Hyun plays Zerg in combinatino with Protoss. Although Yung Chul is taking more of the 2v2 responsibility. Dong Hyun has also become captain of MBCGame Hero for the 2007 season after Park Ji Ho (PuSan) captained the team in 2006 Notable Games Saint vs Canata Here Saint vs Zeus Here Saint/Bisu vs Qoo)Max/Daezang Here - Plexa.

He showed how he can be a weapon in Teamleagues, demolishing Toona SG 4-0 (with his victims Sirasoni, Ogogo, Goodfriend and Rock). Eventually, Legionnaire transferred onto Hexatron with Assem again, to unite with other foreign progamers, Dan 'Rekrul' Schreiber, Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier and Guillaime 'Grrrr...' Patry. Daniel Lee (manager of Hexatron, now eSTRO) used Legionnaire effectively in the teamleagues, downing players such as BoxeR on XenoSky, XellOs on Neo Forbidden Zone and ClouD on R-Point. Eventually, after a controversial set of events which forced Legionnaire to forfeit his game against Yooi in the MBC Minor Leagues after beating Soo 2-1 in the preliminaries, he decided it was time to hang up the mouse and keyboard and go back to Australia and concentrate his studies. Legionnaire was a fan with many Team Liquidians, oftenly posting his experiences in Progaming. His Korean Legion (pun intended) of fans came from his signature Wink after victory pose, as well as his super-reaver play, which if I believe, broke the record of kills (with 55). - GTR-2-Go Seeing as I've been a fan of Peter's since the trial WCG (the one he didn't go to) I thought I'd add a tid bit. Only starting out as a humble foreigner who only came for WCG, he eventually stayed and became a progamer Even when he went to his first WCG Peter knew there was a good chance he could get on a pro-team if he got a good manager. He was sponsored by iStar (http://www.istarzone.com.au/main.php) at the time , as they were heavily involved in Australian starcraft and they had a few Korean links. When he went to his second WCG Peter realised that he could use his pro-gaming career as an "extended" holiday playing a game he considered a hobby. He got a manager and negotiated a deal with POS. Even though there were many other foreigners around at the time who were arguably better than Peter none were wise enough to hire a proper manager and secure a deal with a pro-team. On a personal note: For Peter the whole affair was pretty light-hearted, just like his personality, which is not saying he didn't want to succeed. He truely enjoyed Starcraft and played fearlessly, which is why he tried to showcase innovative and spectacular plays whenever he could. This, however, was sometimes to his detrement. I think, for Peter, the game of Starcraft was about enjoyment. An enjoyment he tried to share with the crowd when he winked at them . Litte did he know how famous he'd become. However, once gaming became a burdain with all the controversies and pressure he decided it was time to hang up the mouse. I think Peter achieved what he wanted to achieve. He got recognition, he further served to change the image of foreigners and he had LOTS of fun.

Race: Terran Birthdate: 28/03/1990 Current Team: MBCGame Hero Former Team(s): Pirates of Space (P.O.S) Nickname(s): The Dark Sorcerer, Super Terran Achievements: SKY Proleague 2006 - 1st Place (MBCGame Hero) 2nd KeSPA Cup - 1st Place (MBCGame Hero) Bio It cannot be said of many gamers that they exploded onto the scene, but it can be said of Lee Jae Ho. Signed to 'Pirates of Space' (P.O.S) from 2006 draft at the young age of 16, he made his first T.V. appearance in proleague the following month. Despite statistics of 3-7 he showed considerable promise with a dominating performance against Oh Yeong Jong (Anytime). In the second half of the proleague season Jae Ho became one of the strongest members of MBCGame Hero. Destroying his first 4 opponents with ease earned him much respect within the team and was even used for Ace on a number of occasions. Shortly after the 1st season of the 2006 proleague he participated in the i-Station Dual tournament and qualified for Shinhan 2 OSL. Despite losing 0-3 in a tough group (Eventual winner, Lee Yoon Yeol (NaDa), an inform Park Sung Jun (Zergman) and Jang Yook (jy)) he continued to show strong performances in the 9th MBC Movies Survivor League and qualified for the GOM TV MSL. In the 2nd OGN Dual Tornament Jae Ho showed an amazing performance finishing 1st from his group and qualifying for Shinhan 3 OSL. However, once again he met an insane group (Eventual winner Ma Jae Yoon (Savior), 2nd place Lee Yoon Yeol (Nada) and Lee Sung Eun (firebathero)) and departed 0-3. Through his efforts in the latter half of 2006, Jae Ho earned the nickname "Dark Sorcerer" for his unparalleled multitasking which could only be achieved through some kind of dark magic. It was this amazing multitasking that Coach Ha originally saw in Jae Ho when he signed him onto P.O.S and this feature of Jae Ho was brought out very nicely by him. Using his amazing multitasking, he was able to turn the TvZ balance on Arcadia from deeply in zerg's favor to strongly in terran's favor. This also was considered an amazing feat, and his methods on the map were copied extensively by other terrans. Jae Ho would build on his 2006 success in 2007 by placing first in his group in GOM TV MSL and making his way to the tiebreak round for entry into the semi-finals losing a close match 1-2 to Jin Yung Soo (Hwasin). Jae Ho earned himself the 6th seed for GOM TV 2 MSL, and came 1st in his group. Jae Ho would lose to eventual finalist and team mate Kim Taek Yong (Bisu) in the first round and again to the other finalist Song Byung Goo (Stork) in the first round of the wildcard matches. Jae Ho also qualified for Daum OSL where he lost 1-2 to another tough group. For MBCGame Hero in 2007 he has also proved a valuable weapon aiding his team in winning the 2nd KeSPA cup in 2007. As well as that he boasts a 66.7% win rate in proleague for 2007 (stats 4-2). Jae Ho is currently only 17 years old and has had an explosive career thus far. With his trademark multitasking he is a terran user that is to be feared by all and has a bright future ahead of him. - Plexa p.s if any one has any recommended games lemme know, and ill add them

However, once Bo Sung focused his attention on the K-SWISS ODT, he blasted through Kim Jun Yung (GGPlay) and then Park Jung Suk (Reach) to earn himself the right to fight for the 4th seed for Shinhan 1 OSL. Destroying Cho Yong Ho (Chojja), Hong Jin Ho (YellOw) and then Kang Min (Nal_Ra) earned the 4th seed for Bo Sung. In addition to this achievement he was noted for two things in particular. Firstly, his age; at this stage he was only 16 years old and being significantly younger than any progamer before him to achieve something of this magnitude earned him extra recognition from tl and Korea alike. Secondly, he became known as the "KTF Killer" for defeating 4 of the most prominent faces of KTF in quick succession (Jung Suk, Yong Ho, Jin Ho and Kang Min). The hype around this young terran prodigy only built as he stormed his OSL group 3-0; defeating another member of KTF along the way (Lee Byung Min - Goodfriend). Then, in an impressive show lost 1-2 to up-and-comer Park Myung Soo (Yellow[ArnC]) in the round of 16. Just as the hype began to cool off Bo Sung rocked the progaming world with a particularly daring build against Lim Yo Hwan (Boxer) in the finals of season 1 of Proleague 2006 on 815. Bo Sung was hailed as a master and gained much respect from all areas of the SC community for this feat. Bo Sung followed up his Shinhan 1 OSL success by qualifying for Shinhan 2 OSL through the i-Station Dual Tournament. Also, in his exclusive retirement interview to teamliquid.net, Lim Yo Hwan (Boxer) stated that the most promising player for terran in his opinion Bo Sung. Over the next two years, which terran, protoss, and zerg players will be the best? ... and for Terran (and this is to encourage him to make more of an effort), Yum Bo-sung (Sea[Shield]) - Lim Yo Hwan Bo Sung however, did not stop. He continued to destroy anything he could in proleague and clenched the final set in the Proleague grand final against SKT1 against Park Tae Min (Gorush) to secure victory for his team (MBCGame Hero). In addition to this, he would be a large factor in the team winning the 2nd KeSPA cup as well. Bo Sung would continue his proleague dominance through 2007 sporting stats of 15-5; an incredible win:loss ratio for any gamer. Bo Sung was denied entry into Daum OSL by none other than Park Jung Suk (Reach) in an epic struggle on HitchHiker. However, he did make the MSL and went 2-1 in the group stages. Bo Sung was then for the third time cut down by a zerg in the round of 8; namely Park Tae Min (Gorush) once again. Due to Lee Joo Yeong (Oversky) leaving to the army, Bo Sung was able to try for a spot in the MSL through the wildcard tournmanet. After a crushing victory over Choi Yun Sung (iloveoov) he took a build order loss to Seo Ji Hoon (Xellos). To this day, Bo Sung has maintained a high winrate against KTF players sporting stats of 10-1. Name: Choi Yun Sung Race: Terran Nickname: Cheater Terran, Bus Driver, Monster, Gorilla Teams: Orion -> 4Union -> SKTelecomT1 (current) Iloveoov arrived onto the progaming scene after being recruited along with other promising talents IntoTheRainBoW and ZergLee onto Boxer’s new team in 2003. They would be joined by players such as kOs and Kingdom (and later Mumyung and Terato). Legend has it that iloveoov caught Boxer’s attention by defeating him online with all three races on Lost Temple. As an amateur iloveoov played all the races and had an account over 2000 on gamei with each race. He was especially noticed for his Zerg play, but his bad manner had prevented previous teams from recruiting him. After gaining his pro license and seeing the need to focus on a single race however, iloveoov ended up picking Terran as he believed that it was the only race with which he could consistently beat Nada who was at that time tearing up the leagues (and who had also been the best player on the ilove clan as ilovesil). Iloveoov rocked the Brood War pro-gaming world as soon after he joined Boxer’s pro team he entered the Trigem MSL where Yellow had thought that by dispatching Nada 2-0 in the winner’s finals he would finally be able to take home a Starleague victory. Instead, iloveoov clawed his way through the loser’s bracket after a first round loss to Nada himself to overwhelm Nada 3-1 in the loser’s bracket finals and then the perennial punching bag Yellow 3-0 in the Grand Finals. He followed this initial splash with two more MBC Starleague championships much in the same way as Nada before him had conquered 3 MSLs in a row, powering over Nada 3-2 in the finals for Hanafos MSL (having only dropped one other game the entire tournament) and Kingdom 3-2 in the finals for Spris MSL (on an amusing side note, close observation yields a certain IPXZerg playing in a Starleague for an unremarkable first time winning one game before losing to TheMarine and then GoodFriend). At this point in iloveoov’s career one should look to how game-breaking his play style was in order to reach win percentages unachievable even by Nada. In fact iloveoov started out with a ridiculous 27-0 TvZ streak. It’s important to remember that iloveoov is put into the category of Bonjwa not just by a magical run through a single tournament but by dominating his opponents thoroughly for a significant period of time and sweeping Starleague caliber players 2-0, 3-1, and 3-0 in sets. Iloveoov’s play could be characterized as devastating macro backed up by the best defense in the history of StarCraft. With a distinctively “low” APM of around 250, iloveoov used his superior game sense to out macro each and every opponent if undisturbed. Earning nicknames of “Cheater Terran” for having impossibly large armies and “Bus Driver” for crushing his opponents mercilessly, perhaps the scariest part of iloveoov at the time was that he also seemed uncheeseable. Adversaries who feared iloveoov’s unstoppable macro also failed in early gambits to pierce iloveoov’s ironclad armor. One interesting myth associated with iloveoov was the “iloveoov curse” where upon after oov smashes an opponent they spiral into a slump from the brutality. Players possibly affected include Yellow, Nada, Nal_Ra, Boxer, and Reach. Concurrently to cruising through Spris MSL in mid 2004, iloveoov landed himself into both the Gilette OSL and the short-lived iTV Starleague. This was somewhat accidental because the preliminaries for the OSL had proven very difficult to work through and he had instead focused his practice on MSL maps where he found great success. In the Gilette OSL, iloveoov found himself the target of the previous OSL Champion Nal_Ra who picked him in his group as the deadliest player he could find. Nal_Ra had torn through the previous OSL with high level strategy and perfectly timed builds. For the first game of the Starleague iloveoov faced Ra down on Requiem, a virtual TvP nightmare, and showed off his excellent defense anyhow as he first deflected early zealot+cannon cheese followed by dark templar drops and then artfully uses dropships to strike at Nal_Ra’s main for the GG. Meanwhile iloveoov was performing unspectacularly in the regular iTV tournament (ranking 9th before the final round) only to display his why he was the scariest player in the world at the time and win 9 straight matches (against the players ranked 2 through 8) to advance to the finals against new sensation JulyZerg. JulyZerg would live up to his hype by pouding iloveoov in early July 2004 in the iTV finals to stop him at his first finals (iloveoov is the definition of a clutch player being 5-0 in MSL+OSL finals) and then again a week later in the OSL brackets which JulyZerg would win. Denied his Royal Road trip and reeling from double losses to JulyZerg with people questioning whether iloveoov’s reign had ended, iloveoov came back with a vengeance in the next OSL, EVER 2k4. EVER 1 was one of the more memorable OSLs as the final 8 included six previous OSL champions, some newb named YellOw, and iloveoov. On his route to the finals against his mentor Boxer, iloveoov took down the fiercest opponents at the time including GoRush, NaDa, and Reach (to whom he lost a macro war for the first time only to come back and stop 3 cheeses). A nail-biter of a series, iloveoov was 2-2 with Boxer ahead in the final game only to get away with an un-scouted expo and inexorably rise to victory. At You are the Golf King MSL (the best name ever) iloveoov would drop his nemesis JulyZerg 2-0 only to lose both in the Winner’s and Loser’s bracket to another opponent who seemingly counters him, XellOs. As sAviOr’s reign started in the MSL, iloveoov meandered around the following OSLs, succumbing to the OSL winner’s curse in IOPS (losing again to JulyZerg), being taken out in EVER 2k5 by XellOs, and falling to the eventual So1 Champion Anytime[gm] 1-3. Winter of 2005 arrived and iloveoov could taste blood, placing 3 relative no-namers in his OSL group and then demolishing Boxer 2-1, Casy 3-2, and even JulyZerg 3-0 (who was on his quest for the Golden Mouse) in the finals to join the elite group of players with 2 OSLs (Boxer, Garimto, Nada – 3, and JulyZerg). Throughout 2005 and 2006 iloveoov displayed his versatility, being a core part of the SKTelecomT1 2005 proleague team that won three finals (as well as domineering the regular season), and placing well in international tourneys including World E-sports Festival 2005 (second to Savior), China-Korea Cyber Games (first over Nada), International E-sports Festival (second to Nada) and the World Cyber Games 2006 (first over JulyZerg). - Locked This was another incredibly fun one to write, and yeah this is way bigger than I intended but it's just so hard compressing players such as iloveoov into 500 words or less although if it's necessary I can cut out more stuff also once again I would appreciate it if anyone offered suggestions on how to improve this players on my hit list: Reach, Kingdom, Rainbow, Gorush, Casy... edit: i've made a few revisions to this since i first posted it, mostly word choices but i also added the oov curse and maybe some other stuff
