Suter and Parise are a big help, but that team still is a couple dmen and a few depth guys away from being more than an outside threat at a 7 or 8 seed. They're putting a lot of hope into granlund to contribute early, and unfortunately guys like Seto and PM Bouchard just really aren't that good if they're not paired with skilled players. As a long-time, devout supporter of the Wild and Vikings, I am perfectly justified in saying that this team is playing like trash. I mean I love the Wild, but really, $200+ million in contracts later and this franchise is no better than they were last year. They haven't improved upon any of the problems from last year, and the only good things they have are Koivu, Parise, Suter, Backstrom, and Granlund. This franchise needs a complete overhaul (again) before it's going to contend for anything. It's only mildly aggravating to have the best high school and collegiate hockey in the nation, and yet have one of the shittiest professional teams (next to Florida and Columbus).

Just god awful. No one can do anything right, and the fact that this team is touching the cap is pretty alarming. Should trade Setoguchi to a contender, buyout Heatley, let all the UFA go out and play your kids. Sure youll suck then too, but it will be cheaper and lets you stack up picks.

Currently? 2.10. Goals against last year? 2.65. Currently? 2.80. This team signed about $200 million+ in contracts in the offseason and have nothing to show for it as of yet. I have no idea how you can say they are contending for ANY playoff seed when playing like this. they looked awful tonight. Just god awful. Sure youll suck then too, but it will be cheaper and lets you stack up picks. I think it would be less frustrating if they and everyone else just admitted that they are crap, gave up on this clusterfuck of a team, and completely rebuilt. Keep Granlund, Koivu, Parise, Suter, Backstrom, and start dealing out with the rest. Completely rebuild around this core.

Six different guys with a goal. Phaneuf finally gets one, Kessel gets his second and a few good fights... Feels good man.

Not weird to see, Calgary sucking. I cant believe they havent pulled the plug on this team. For god's sake, let Iginla at least get a taste of the Cup again. Otherwise all he will have is that almost-cup almost 8 years ago. Trade him, Kipper and anyone else you can take and at least know that no matter how far you fall the Oilers management will one up you to the basement.

1. Whitney and Potter blow. 2. Hall needs to stop trying 123920820 dangles every game leading to a turnover. I'm actually getting MAD when he does this game after game after game. He's no Eberle or RNH. 3. J. Schultz is amazing. 4. We have to learn how to win a damn faceoff. Winning only ~30% of faceoffs is just sad. 5. We have to score more 5-5 even strength goals. I think we are close to last in the league for even strength goals scored. 6. Dubnyk has been playing well. (Other than that bad game in SJ).

Might be a minorly overpaid based on his recent production but he's definitely still one of the better defensemen in the league. He's definitely not a Jack Johnson type where he's pure offense and fucking horrible in his own end, that's for sure. speaking of the Leafs, lol (the team was surprised to learn that four in the corner doesn't protect Staal our front) i hate to break this to you. but , the leafs look like a well coached team. Randy Carlyle is doing a good job. As long as Reimer stays healthy the Leafs will finish someplace from 7 to 10 in the east. I was hoping they'd end up in 15th so they could get a decent player.

bennyhilltheme.mp3 also, Corey Conacher is pretty rad. It looks like he will take the Mighty Midget torch from St. Louis. Kid's got sharp moves and skates well both with and without the puck
