This reminded me of a T.S. Eliot poem, the hollow men, the end of which is depressingly apropos to the end of the SSL. This is the way the world ends This is the way the world ends This is the way the world ends Not with a bang but a whimper Luckily the end of the SSL isn't the end of the world. It's a great loss, no doubt, and I feel terrible that it turned out like this; for sonic, the innocent players and also the viewers. It's not the end of all that is BW though. There's still the Chinese scene and there's still the foreigner scene. Maybe none of those will ever be up to par with the SSL, perhaps one day they will. But BW fights on

As I understand it, he wanted to clean these things up and keep going with the SSL/SOSPA events. But he's just one guy and he couldn't possibly fight all of the brokers, matchfixers and all of the corruption they brought with them. It sucks, but I don't think I can blame him. After all he did, this is what he got... I would probably do the same thing were I in his shoes.
