There have been endless tomes written on fungal, and at this point there's really nothing left to be said. I think most people want it to be changed, be it for balance or spectator reasons. Blizzard are working on it but don't want to rush into anything and ruin a stable (arguably a little boring, but stable for the people whose lives depend on it) metagame. BTW, the graphs mean nothing on their own, and the conspiracy theory rubbish is... I don't have words for it. I think most people who possess logical reasoning probably don't think that Blizzard is trying to boost foreigner success.

Way to complain about low viewer numbers and a disgruntled community and contribute to it at the same time. Lol you really think players need a thread to stop playing? Many players already stopped playing, not because of some threads but because of their race being bad, boring or even the game being worse than it was a year ago. The fact that Diablo 3 was such a disaster compared to what it was expected to be didn't help, now many people realized that the 201x blizzard isn't the same as the previous team.

If the game is in such a poor state then the viewer numbers deserve to decline, when it gets better we can talk about how great it is again. More and more people switch to playing/watching other games every day, not because of " community negativity " but because of real issues that are not going to go away by doing nothing. Plus I ,far from even master player, actually ladder much more as I cannot be bothered to watch the tournaments with all the zerg nonsense. On my level of play all that balance talk is not really relevant. Plus if this was only a balance issue all would be nice. Problem is it is also design issue. On highest level of play the game is turning out not that fun to watch and cheer for.

However, the attempt at humour was kinda lame. Don't try to be funny unless you know you are, and the author clearly has no clue. TL needs less of that.

Contradicting yourself by saying in one paragraph "Fans want exciting games!", then in the next saying "Fans don't care about game quality as long as foreigners win!" make you look dumb. Here here to the infestor nerf cannon! It's time for me to burst your buble. TvZ is very imbalanced, PvZ is much more balanced. You don't agree? It's just GENIUS how you covered every single feeling all terrans have, how everything you say is so true (with the exception of the conspiracy ofcourse :p). I agree 100000%. Ofcourse you will get a ton of flame for this, because zergs don't like to hear all of this. In their eyes everything is totally fine. If you think about it, in an objective way: is it normal that: 1) the race with the best macro mechanics 2) is also the race with the best army 3) is also the race that has a maphack named creep 4) is also a race that can prevent expansions from landing/going up for a long time (creep, overlord creep, burrow, speedling)??? Not, really, no. I'm zerg and once I actually bothered to look at the games objectively and see how much zerg players were screwing up versus how much terrans and protoss were screwing up, the imbalance was obvious. Zerg can come back from ANYTHING in ZvP if they can get their god army. Anything. In ZvT, terran has zero margin for error whereas zerg... not so much. Zerg can make many colossal errors and come back through "BRILLIANT FUNGALS" that even I can do. Even my Dad notices how retarded zerg can be, and he's a complete noob both in spectating and playing! Also, 1 is not necessarily true, most flexible would be the best description, you can play perfectly but if the game was well designed and balanced you should also be able to make the worst mistakes. 3 is an example of asymmetric balance, which you are again overstating the potency of a bit. Both wouldn't actually be that bad if zerg's massive margin for error and ultra-OP endgame allowed them to snowball out of control almost regardless of what the protoss or terran does.

Look at the options here: by not posting balance posts it's like choosing to deny that a problem exists even if it's starring you right in the eye. That doesn't help anybody and if anything would only hurt the longevity of the game. If you post balance issues, there's at least a chance for the community outcry to be heard/ spread the feeling of outrage so that actual changes will be made to the game, changes that may help preserve it as one of the best games in the future.
