Everything right, except the conspiracy. They could have Huk and Naniwa instead of Stephano and Scarlett, or Thorzain and Major.

Blizzard is actually really good at destroying games. All they needed to do was suddenly, with no explanation, add +2 range to queens and +25% speed buff overlord and BOOM, 2 years of balance are gone. Good job David Kim & team.

And i am not even kidding.

That's a bandaid solution, the better thing to do is change or get rid of the problem ( fungal growth ) and the game will be better for it.

Nerf infestors, buff other Zerg units to compensate, we have a more fun game to play and watch with more strategic depth like we had during the era of ling/bane/muta vs T.

I agree with pretty much everything, but I'm not so sure about the Blizzard and foreigners winning theory there. Seems like a troll. It's possible, but it's really hard to tell if Blizzard is just too stupid/ignorant to see how ez infestors and broodlords are or if they have other motives behind not changing them.

But I think we all agree that zerg is much easier to play and much less forgiving whereas terran is filled with difficulty and micro!

I still don't understand what queen range and overlord speed have to do with the infestor being op. At best the queen gives you an easier start and encourages turtling, but it doesn't give you the edge in a bl/infestor battle.

And yes, of course you can distingish between a top level and a low level zerg, very easily. For example because ling/bling battles are the hardest micro in the game, because the constant pressure and counter attacks that Life does and others are copying doesn't happen by itself, and neither do the four+ bases needed for bl/infestor build up and defend themselves. Stephano is obviously not the only one who bothers to flank.

"Patchzerg" is the stupidest concept ever. I'm not even arguing that zerg isn't OP, but you seriously want me to believe that queen range and overlord speed make a player competitive at pro level who would otherwise not be? When everyone agrees that the problems lie with infestor/bl? "After all, we can see where the future is heading." Yes, assuming there will be no further patches and no HotS. And then the tinfoil thing .... Sorry, but this is a lot of effort put into laughable claims.

I actually don't think zerg needs any more buffs even if you nerf infestors. Buffs to anything else will completely break ZvP unless you're gona buff toss to, but only in some midgame engagements vs zerg so that it doesn't also fuck up PvT

Either way it's a very complicated issue

The more I look at these threads and stats the worse I feel. This basically takes away all the hope I had to get good results with terran as long as I put enough effort and thought into it. On the other hand this situation can't go on forever and hopefully Blizzard realizes that the game has to change for good.

The fact that zergs had a slower econ or lack of scouting information was just masking the problem. A couple of infestors can be dealt with, 20 cannot.

I can't sign all the conspiracy bullshit. Everything about zerg you say if obviously absolutely true and the stats with pathzergs beating Koreans are horrifying to look at but it's not because Blizzard wants foreigners to win. It's just Blizzard being incompetent.

Fungal can really be the death of SC2 if it isn't changed (but it seems to be with latest HotS patch notes).

I dont think the ZvT matchup was balanced before the queen patch. It felt like terran could dictate the game way to strongly. They could go for hellions banshees and 3rd cc and pretty much guarantee that they will be able to do damage and banshees could deny a zergs third so the terran could pretty much always get his first.

I know that terrans are upset but please be reasonable and honest when it comes to the balance of sc2.

There is still hope that the community reacts in such a way that Blizzard finally makes good changes and that HotS becomes a more fair and balanced game. Thus training your RTS skills probably won't bring results in WoL but it may bring some in HotS!
