I had 3 consecutive tibial tuberosity injuries which kept me from squatting or doing olympic lifts, but I could still dl and do all upper body stuff with no aggravation. | ||

I'm 90% sure deadlift was the actual exercise that caused the injury I need to rehab my hamstrings then I should be able to ease back into it I hope. It didn't feel too bad a month ago and I got back squat and deadlift up to 265/255 and it came back bad. | ||

came in a 12.6%bf on the 3-site and 7-site caliper measurement. 11.8% on the BIA, and 12.0% on the bodpod. I suppose that means I'm around 12%, but I really thought I was closer to 15. I'll take pictures later today or tomorrow and put them up, since it's the end of november. | ||

I got on the scale yesterday and weighed 161 lbs! I'm 6'0 so I feel like this is a good weight for me.. I just need to lean down now and add muscle.. but anyways I am down from 188 last summer! This summer I was at ~175.. I couldn't believe my drop in weight since I started lifting heavy. So thanks to all who helped me and answered questions, etc. My goal is to have a 6 pack by June 2013... but I need to put down the other 6 pack if I want that to happen. (Tonight is cheat day.. IPL is on and I have to pretend like I'm there ) Edit: Whatever.. Decided to take some now anyways. I stuffed my face today like no other.. and had a couple beers tonight. But who cares! Before: (Not a good picture..) + Show Spoiler + After: + Show Spoiler + Edit 2: wow after looking at these again I still got a long way to go. My back is so... puny | ||

Because if your goal is to look your best for summer, I would personally advise you to eat at a small surplus for a couple of months, before you cut down just before summer. Though you do look like you've been doing some lifting, you don't have a lot of muscle mass yet. If you cut all the way up to summer, I fear you might look skinny, instead of ripped. If you lean bulk you can expect to add pretty much pure muscle, considering newbie gains. And you should still be able to achieve lean status in summer. Hope this advice isn't unwanted, and maybe not everyone agrees, just my two cents. | ||

I think that I am going to continue to cut until January.. and then start the bulk. Should I shoot for the end of March to begin my cut again? Leaves about 2 months for each. | ||

Yeah, I would reevaluate in march, depends on how lean you are then if you bulk another month or not, but 2 months is about right. Even if you decide to lean bulk right now, i think you probably will end up looking leaner in march than you do now, due to the extra muscle mass, especially if you keep the surplus small (200-300 cals).
