Geekhack or youtube has the o-ring part number. I did not favorite the link, so you'll have to do some digging there.
The next thing would be too google local companies that manufacture o-rings or carry o-rings. You obviously want a store that has the same o-ring part number you find at geekhack/youtube. The company I bought my o-rings from is called Fastenal. You can visit their website and punch in the o-ring there.

Is there such thing as a mechanical keyboard with a standard layout (the position of the ctrl, alt, caps lock keys) but mirrored horizontally?
The reason I'm looking for one is that I'm using a hotkey layout (TheCore) that uses your thumb to hit shift. ctrl, and alt that works better for lefties due to the position of the ctrl and shift keys on the left side of the keyboard, but I'm a righty myself so I have to use the right side of the keyboard where there's an extra key between ctrl and alt.
Alternatively (and almost the same thing), would be a keyboard that just has no extra key between the right side ctrl and alt keys and has ctrl and alt closer together (like the left-side ctrl and alt keys).

Wow, you are in the US right? Over there it costs like 60% of what it costs here, not even taking shipping into account. You should be happy that you get it so cheap, not hate yourself for spending a small amount of money for a great product.

picked up the logitech g710+. replacing a bw ultimate (non 2013 version) that broke down to bad liquid spill. thought id give logitech's first mechanical keyboard a try. newegg gift card also helped. and im a guy who likes to match, so my logitech g9x needed a logitech keyboard brother lol
so far... im liking it!
typing feels nice. and sound is quiet enough. obviously it is much quieter than my previous bw ultimate blue switches. key resistance seems good, i think im a relatively hard key presser, so typing feels quite nice.
i didnt like the orange accent around macro keys when i first saw pictures, but now im kind of a fan. i love the white glow backlight. a nice change from the strong blue. rolling volume dial is nice and convenient.
i like the palm rest, i generally prefer palm rests.one con with the palm rest, it doesnt seem to sit flat on the ground. like when i go to type, i can feel my palm push the palm rest into the ground, so it might be hovering 5mm or so. i put something below it, so easy fix
overall im happy with it. however, i dont believe it is worth what the price is at right now i believe logitech has to get it down to the $140 max limit. but as i sit here looking at my keyboard, its a looker (once again i love the white glow backlight). and typing is pleasurable.

Can someone that has tried both MX Red and MX Brown switches give me some input on how they feel while typing & gaming? I'm not sure which of them I want (I'm probably going to buy either CM Storm Quickfire Rapid Red or Zowie Celeritas). I've heard people say that the MX Brown is a good "gateway mechanical switch", does this mean that they feel more like the switches on regular keyboards or what?

to me MX brown and red feel almost the same only mx reds are like a soft MX brown version
I like both, but am using reds now
i'd say MX red = soft/light mx brown version

Brown switches can lead to harder addictions like heroine and cocaine. Just thought I u should be aware.

Yes. For your first mechanical keyboard I'd suggest browns. I went for blues because I like the sound but should I ever get another one, I'd probably go for brown switches, especially if I want to use the keyboard in the vicinity of other people.

So I've typed on Reds, Blues, and Browns. I personally prefer blues then browns and hate reds. Blues and Browns have a nice tactile *CLICK* when you press down on them. You can both hear and feel everything you type out.
That being said, blues are pretty loud. Browns feel the same as blues imo but they're not as as loud. Some people don't like the sound the blues make and prefer browns because of that.
Reds feel like the nicest membrane keyboard except that you can feel when the switch bottoms out. When you type on normal keyboards you get a muted, almost mushy feeling when you press down on a key. Reds have the same travel feeling that membrane keyboards do but actuate or press down very easily. And you can feel when the keys bottom out. However, they don't give you any tactile feedback when you press down.
I've heard good things about the CM Storm keyboards but I'd personally recommend Brown switches.

I'd like to clear up something so he doesn't get the wrong idea. Brown switches have a tactile bump when you type on them. So every time you press down a key, you'll feel a bump before the key goes down all the way. Blue switches have both a tactile bump AND clicky sound. The clicky sound is why blues are different from browns, and are louder. Otherwise if you eliminate that factor, browns and blues are pretty much the same.
I have the CM Storm QFR in blues and the CM Storm QFP in browns. I personally love typing on my browns more than my blues ever since I got them. The only time I use my blues is when my roommate is out and I have time to play SC2.

So I'm looking for a high-quality, bare-bones keyboard (no macro keys or backlighting or other such gimmickry) with Blacks or Reds. Best thing I've found is the Meka G1. Have I missed anything?
edit: That CM Storm does look nice.

wow that CM Storm looks so delicious!!! I used to wonder why peopple would invest in a 10-keyless but no I understand. Considering my deskspace I definitely shoul'dve gotten one.
And yes, red switches are sexy!
