Pick their Power 3 - Pikachu's Revenge + Show Spoiler [Important Posts] +
Introduction: Mafia is a fun game. If you don't know the rest of the model OP by now, you probably shouldn't be signing up for this game. Its a fun but complicated setup. It is well worth it to read through PTP1 and PTP2 to get a feel for how these games work.
tl:dr - No Clues - No PMs (except for mafia or mason type roles) - 24 hour night/48 hour day cycle. - Thanks to everyone who has played a game of TL mafia.
Game Setup:
After a pretty horrific defeat in the first Pokemafia, its time for the Pokealliance to hit back at Team Rocket. Apart from the usual PTP rules, this game has a few extra mechanics in play. Everyone will be given the role of a Pokemon from the original 150. Depending on the type of Pokemon you are, you get a bonus to certain powers:
Grass/Bug/Psychic/Ghost + Show Spoiler +These guys are good at sneaking hidden through grass, floating through walls, or reading minds. They get bonus information from Investigative powers.
Fire/Electric/Poison + Show Spoiler +These guys hit hard! They get a bonus 0.5KP to attack powers.
Water/Ice/Normal + Show Spoiler +The healing and nurturing Pokemon, they protect an additional 0.5KP with Medic powers.
Rock/Ground/Fighting + Show Spoiler +With good training and a tough skin, these guys can take a punch or two. They get an extra half life if they have a Veteran/BP type power.
In addition, the standard effectiveness rules are in play. A Fire Pokemon will double his effective KP against a Grass Pokemon, but will only deal half KP to a Rock Pokemon. A Water Medic will double his protection if protecting a Fire Pokemon.
Alignments:
Pokealliance You win when all Anti-Town forces are dead.
Team Rocket You win when Mafia members outnumber non-members.
????? You win if you are alive at the end of the game and have fulfilled your victory condition.
Picking Phase:
After the signups are complete, everyone will be told the Pokemon they are picking for. Apart from that, picks will be anonymous. You then have 24 hours to come up with a role and PM it to both myself and GreYMisT.
Advice on picking:
-Be sensible with your picking, don't pick anything too strong or overpowered. -VI type roles are a bad idea. -Roles that manipulate a person's posting might seem like fun, but they really aren't. -Role that rely on randomness should be avoided as well. -Matching role to Pokemon type will give a boost to that pokemon. -Resurrection is messy (see PTP2)

Going with the original generation types for simplicity.

Luckily you have some ghost pokemon to deal with it-
Oh wait, they are all ghost poison, so psychic is super effective against them?
Well then!

Night 0
GreYMisT has turned back time!
the misfortune counter is now set to 9 and the bell at the end of time has begun echoing. The Time Fracture counter is up to 9 and unless it is lowered time itself will end day 4!
GreYMisT will die at the end of Night 0, and nothing can prevent this!
Night 0 ends in 24 hours.
Plague Counter: 0 (Reset!) Time Fracture Counter: 9 Misfortune Counter: 9 Balance Counter: 5 (Reset!)
The three augers are now in play!
The Tarot of Destiny has drawn the Hanged Man card. this will come into effect with the day post.
The bell at the end of time is tolling.
The strands of fate grow taut!
Everyone affected by the new counter totals or the Time Reset ability got a pm, PM me if you think you needed one and didn't get one. See the OP for details on resurrections and the tarot of destiny

GMarshal has aquired the Epoch!
The Epoch is a time machine, only usable by Chrono (GMarshal) And allows him, in addition to the members of his Party To survive in the End Of Time. You can travel to any points bookmarked by GreYMisT, the Chronographer But beware, should you enter 1999AD, the cataclysm will occur, raising the Time Fracture counter and Misfortune Counter to 13
....Maybe Chrono trigger mafia needs to happen.
