If everyone played with that logic, the thread would be empty forever.
People not talking is something to talk about, obviously.
What do you think of my comments on tunneling?
|
Yes, exactly, because there's nothing to talk about, maybe we should get something to talk about?

i was responding to grush57 btw, no solstice.

(Yes, lets pressure the only non-lurker) Woo!

You know, this isn't helping your case. There is plenty to talk about. Bring something up and i'll take my vote off you.
|
(What case?) Whats to talk about, seriously give me something lol. People are lurking? Yeah mlg is on and it's not even 3 hours.
|
Grush, what do you think of my comments on tunneling?

A good statement, when accusing someone you can't go crazy and have to think about it reasonably.
|
"Tunneling" is not a good thing to do. Of course, there exists a point between "tunneling" and pursuing a lead that murks the waters.
Maybe we should think about on our strategy? At least something to pull and potential lurkers out and get some discussion going. I'll start: We should have a roll call of every person at latest 4-5 hours before voting period. Anyone agree or disagree?
|
Er not roll call, that's not the word i was looking for. I mean look for at least 1 or 2 posts from each person 4-5 hours before the voting period.

Yeah but we can't do this if there are people who don't talk. Thus I'm trying to create discussion.

Depending on how many people are lurking and how many people appear scummy, we have to adjust our strategy. Right now, Grush is appearing incredibly scummy, but we can't let the lurkers off the hook.
Grush, pick up your game. To be honest, grush57 must be scum because one of the rules of this game is "play to win" and well, he clearly isn't.
|
My opinion might change if none of the lurkers decide to pop in and post something before the day's end, but for now, i'll stick with my vote.

Also, the first thing to do as town is to prove your innocent so people don't tunnel you all day.

With time zone differences, it's going to be near impossible for everyone to be around for lynch time.
That said, everyone should make their best effort to do so. This is a small game, and a majority will be hard to come by if people aren't around.
KtheZ, your suggestion to look for activity around vote time is correct but also obvious. Absences will be noted, and factored into reads where applicable.
On to the next thing...
Every game I've played in has had lurkers, and they really shit up the game. We need to decide if, in absence of a clear majority, we pursue a lurker policy lynch. This is extra important in this game, because mislynches are extra deadly when the player field is small. My opinion is that if we have no worthy cases, a policy lynch is better than risking a no-lynch no lynch.
