Edit: Is Whirlwind a spiritual remake of a Brood War map?

Jacky's just trolling casters by calling his new map Muspelheim right? =p Looks like we finally lose Bel'Shir and Dual Sight, farewell to both, you each gave us some great games but you'd run your course. *COUGH*4 gate*COUGH* *COUGH*1/1/1*COUGH*

GSTL is bo9, so it needs 9 maps lol 9 maps to practice... Thats a lot for a pro. If we want intelligent strategies that revolve around the map pool we need to reduce our map pools to at least 5 or 6

Whirlwind looks cool. The thirds are reasonable, not to hard to take and not to easy. IT seems like its going to be super easy to get a 4th gas though, so this map may be pretty protoss favored. I would like to see some maps taken out of the pool Entombed is a bad map and pretty imbalanced and way too good for protoss Cloud kingdom is a cool map, but PvT balance is really bad there. Atlantis is zerg favored, so might be a good candidate to go.

Getting rid of the old maps is always good. It would be great if they could remove Entombed Valley and maybe add another ESV or TPW map. Whirlwind close spawns favour strong 2 base pushes excessively on a map full of choke points, and the second map has ramps fucking everywhere. stop trolling, whirlwing is one of the most open maps ever and muspelheim has only few chokes

*COUGH*All the good games we got on both over the course of their existences*COUGH* They had flaws, no one disagrees, but they gave us a lot of very good games too ^^ On May 24 2012 18:35 thezanursic wrote: 9 maps to practice... Players train and practice to be sent out on certain maps or against certain opponents. You aren't practicing for every single possible scenario, you approach it as a team.
